Funny and good video, but you should try and read up more on Nuclear energy. Looks like Sam is still a bit brainwashed by the rubbish they said about it. Nuclear energy is a lot more sustainable, greener and cheaper than anything else we have, including ugly looking wind turbines and solar panels.

Us unwashed masses are currently essential to drive economy when we apply the traditional consumption philosophy of - Consumption Drives Technology and Technology Drives Living Standards - but this is CHANGING obviously. Formerly workers ( even on menial pay ) did all the heavy lifting in society and their consumption paid for the R&D of emerging tech - but that aint necessary going forward. If AI does the R&D and robots do the labour - the masses are not required - not only that - they are a hindrance to rich treating the world as playground.

The news and public blew it way out of proportions, yes it had a fault, but hardly a melt-down.
Furthermore, pretty sure modern nuclear power plants are one of our GREENEST means of producing energy, due to how reusable spent fuel rods have become~ we can literally reuse them until they're basically inert harmless hunks of material. I get making a skit, but perhaps.. lets not further perpetuate false information regarding a power source that can quite easily deal with our emerging power issues.

Ironically this video is also infected with ads. And by the way, modern nuclear plants are small, low emmision and safe. Ask any French person how they feel about their reliable power supply and stable energy costs.

Sam, as much as I love your humor, this video has shown a little hole in your knowledge. Nuclear is one of the best chances we have at stopping climate change. It has the potential to be a rock-solid base load for the grid. Uranium is not an evil green rock, similarly to for example sulfuric acid, it just needs to be handled properly. Btw sulfuric acid is one of the most useful and used chemicals in our world, so industry-wise, it is everywhere. Further on, the huge chimneys of which one you used in the the thumbnail release this horrible and scary chemical called... water, more specifically water vapour. If you're scared of radiation, then I would look at coal instead. Although in trace amounts, radioactive isotopes are very much present in coal and consequently the fumes that its burning releases. One might think, what does a milligram or so per tonne really mean anyway? Well, you need much-much more than one to run the coal plant. Uranium fuel rods are hunks of metal sitting in water and getting it hot, btw the water in contact with the uranium is NOT the one leaving the towers. If you don't believe me, check out Kile Hill, a science educator with years of experience who can clear out all the confusion for you.

as someone now having to work basicly all the time with ai:
i absolutly hate it.
coding was fun, now i feel like a parent supervising a insanely fast child to get good enough code so that i can move on to the next chore ppl now expect in the age of ai.

Most of this was on point, and funny, except for nuclear power, which should be stopped being portrayed the way you just did as it is pretty counter productive to engineers and scientists trying to educate people, in a sea of misinformation and outright stupidity. Of course the USE of energy generated by nuclear power, is an entirely different matter...
