I do long lace but double loop so it cuts short

I shift the tongue over to the outside of my boot. I never liked folding it or leaving it up and didn't want to cut it. If you crank your laces when you tie them it will bite you though, just a forewarning.

Best is wrap sole but, between the 4 heel studs so it glues the heel of the shoe to your heel, then tie and fold over. Feels more glued than superflys
