DJI Air 2S Long Term Review | After 6 Months Of Flights

I have have had my Air 2S for two weeks and LOVE IT! Unfortunately I will not be watching your video on the Air 3. You like to say “I’m not a person who…” well I am that person who likes to get the new shiny object that gets dangled in front of him. Your videos just make me want more! I will however let your Air 3 videos play with the sound off and give you a well deserved thumbs up. Today I made the mistake of watching your Mavic 3 firmware update. What a beast of a drone. So I’m just going to be perfectly happy with my Air 2s and be content…for now.🤦🏼‍♂️

I have been thinking of adding this drone and your video has pretty much convinced me. You are probably my most trusted source lately. I have the Mini 2 also. I’m glad I came across this review.

Probably got asked this a few times, but how did you get the sound on your footage? Editing software?

What app do you use to get the footage off of the Mavic and onto Instagram for instance? I have had a drone in the past and when I export the footage, it does not scale properly to IG and caused me a TON of frustration. Any tips here for the DJI? Thanks!

Had to replace a M2Z in a rush (propeller departure in flight) to accommodate a client. Went with the Air 2 from a cost perspective since I was moving down a level in the DJI lineup. After a number of months finally upgraded to the 2S and the S upgrade was by far worth the trade that almost rendered the now repaired M2Z obsolete. The interchangeable batteries with the 2A added to the value of the upgrade. If anyone is on the fence about upgrading your 2A.....just do it.

I bought a $55 samsung tracfone specifically for my controller as a screen. $200 is alittle steep for DJI's screen controller.

Amazing image quality! I've been using my Air 2 for 2 years now and find it a joy to fly. Never had any issue with it even after a couple of crashes. Air 2s will definitely be my next upgrade.

Maybe I missed it, but when you said you crashed it because it didn't have obstacle avoidance. Did you just have it turned off? I thought this model has 4 avoidance sensors? I ordered one and waiting for it to show up and one of the reasons I chose it is for the avoidance system

Just bought air 2s yesterday...so dissapoint rcn1 controller fail to turn on after update

I'm torn between the air 2s and the mini pro 3 I can't decide which one to get the one inch sensor is very appealing to me on the air 2 though

Heading to Australia and NZ in May and I think I will buy this drone for the trip

If you had to pick one between the Mini 3 Pro with DJI Rc or the Air 2S with the DJI RC and I'm not using it for to make money but I want to have the best connection which should I get?

Best drone ever! I love to use HLG in my movies! Drone is tough! Fast! Stable! And camera is just perfect! Mavic Air 2s is unstoppable! 👍

I had the mavic pro 2 but ended up selling it a while ago, hated giving up my drone, just ordered this one which I’m excited to get!

After seeing your all video I purchase this drone yesterday. After buying I can't tell my feelings. I just love it. But little fear for absence of side obstacle sensor. Before buying I testing Mavic 2 pro. It's a good drone in my opinion. But after buying air2s the accuracy of spotlight and POI are excellent even in low light. The quality of picture out for camera are excellent but there should be a picture profile like mavic 2 pro. What can we do it's a monopoly of DJI. I hope you can help me. What's the best Android tablet to use that's compatible with Fly App. Not worries about cost. I am tole tripletek is best for the high nits but its bulky and ugly

Hi Sean. Hope this is not a stupid question, but if you take off (with any drone)usily DJI Fly say and stop the flight whilst in the air, disconnect the Fly app, can you boot up a different app, say Dronelink, and pick up flying the drone from where you stopped it in the air?

This drone is really scary for me but I'm getting more comfortable. Tye video is perfect but the pictures are very soft. It's a certain look I guess 😂

Wow you should have been careful with that tree though .. dude mine fell about a 100' after hitting a Palm tree only cost about a $150 to fix it when I sent it in it is pretty tough

Hi I’m looking at selling my phantom 4 pro and buying a air 2s. I mainly just want something smaller and easy to travel with would you recommend the air 2s as a good replacement or would you recommend keeping the phantom 4 pro.

I see the batteries look similar to the pro 2

I have had the air 2 since it came out got fly more combo I'm about to sell the drone and remote and 1 battery and buy the 2s. Or just keep my air 2 because its almost the same.

10bit D-Log means it will be just fine for most commercial work.

after crash it hasnt turned off?? Thast is quite suprising.
I smashed My MA2 into the tree around 4,5m above ground, in sport mode on high velocity I hit tree and crashed on to the ground and safety systems turned off all rotors, So I was able to aproach and turn drone off, Gimbal broke off but still hanging on one cable I was able to see back of drone on my controler :/ I knew it was bad.
So how did you turned off rotors? safety stick position on contrlorer?

Obstacle avoidance doesn’t work too well

That "crash" was more of a love tap. If you want to see some real crashes check out DC Rainmaker and his obstacle avoidance comparisons. He shares his experiences with DJI Care and the replacement process. He's crashed them all.

Great footage! I don't own one yet, but am on the cusp of ordering one. I am curious though: the Air 2S has front collision avoidance, so... how/why did you hit that tree? Was the drone moving so fast than the collision avoidance couldn't react in time?
