Wow, what a beautiful building. Such fantastic craftsmanship.
Ответить👀 weuuu
ОтветитьThx so much; very enlightening n inspiring. My question. Can we build a 5 storey building using the same materials n procedures??
ОтветитьBuilding with natural rock is an Art. Every corner, every edge, every wall is perfect. Using reinforced concrete and high strength mortar helps ensure long life. Rock never wears out and this house will last much longer than the current owners.
ОтветитьThis is absolutely beautiful work!
ОтветитьHow do they deal with cold bridging?
ОтветитьLovely.
ОтветитьIt looks nice but no insulation, hope it is in a pretty moderate climate
ОтветитьDo you have Any contact to the masons
ОтветитьITS TOO GOOD... UNBELIEVABLE VOICE OF KK.....
ОтветитьBeautiful work but you spend Lot of money on this Project..
ОтветитьBack in a good ol' day when they knew nothing about insulation, condensation and other nasty stuff... but it looks good!
ОтветитьFantastic! Please let me know how long to build this amazing house
ОтветитьMore proof that we humans are just a commodity. If we weren't we'd all be encouraged to build with stone. After all it's everywhere. The way most home are build, at least where I live, proves we've just here to make others rich. It's not about providing a shelter for everyone. It's about everyone providing for the few with their hard earned cash.
ОтветитьAt what point does Machu Picchu become the Flintstones?
ОтветитьReally can’t stand much shaking, very cold in winter.
ОтветитьBeautiful. Looks like it’s built to last hundreds of years.
ОтветитьIt is real House VS paper and plastic
ОтветитьI am planning one of these but instead of wood, I'm gonna make steel roof trusses
ОтветитьAn excellent craftsmanship. Those who built this building were really masters. I hope the owners of the house live long in peace. I sincerely congratulate you.
ОтветитьA beautiful building, top marks to the constructors involved👍
ОтветитьGreetings from the LooseNatural farm in Andalusia Spain where we currently embark on a stone building project. Thank you for sharing this video
Ответитьall around us those fragile homes, this one will stand for generations without maintenance
ОтветитьThe Masons did excellent work.
Beautiful Home.
Thank you for sharing this journey with us.
Great! It’s lovely, but are the builders only interested in aesthetics, or the cosmetics of building? Where’s the air sealing, insulation and moisture controls? Occupants must heat and condition the thing.
Have we forgotten the future cost of human housing comforts?
An ugly cube of a house.
ОтветитьHardest, but most beutifull and endurable way to build a home. That house will last for centureis.
ОтветитьTo me, there is something odd about an open breezeway under tons of stone in the absence of any visible means of support.
ОтветитьThe artful fitting of the masonry is a joy to behold. Is the house location known? Anyway, thanks for taking the time to create the video!
ОтветитьNice video. But this is not a "stone house". It's a concrete house with stones hiding the concrete.
Ответитьno insulation then or cavity in the walls - so damp going to be an issue .
ОтветитьA home for generations. Will stand the test of time. So much better then the ugly wood and paper homes made in the US for more money then you could make in a decade.
ОтветитьIs it cheaper than a brick/concret house? It seems you could pick all those stones up from side roads for free, but laying them in such constructive pattern seems a separate type of craft on its own...
ОтветитьI believe this house will last for 1000 years.
ОтветитьAnyone have an idea of what this might cost ?
ОтветитьPretty, but it better not be in earthquake country !!!
ОтветитьWow that is a beautiful little stone house what is the asking price? In the USA this is a 2 million dollar house no matter where it’s built.❤
ОтветитьGorgeous ❤️
Ответитьhow much did it cost to build (inc. everything)
Ответить❤
ОтветитьVery nice work.
A more common method for building a home would be to use conventional wood framing for the walls and floors, at least the upper floor.
A ledge would be provided below the first floor level for installation of an 8” thick stone (veneer) wall.
Same system would be used for a full brick home.
Using that method the home can be progressing while retaining the masonry work is in progress.
And the frame walls allow for a better insulation system.
As for out side appearance after completion, there would be no difference.
This isn't 'time lapse', this is 'slide show'. :/
ОтветитьMore like a concrete house clad in stone than a real stone house. I would love to build a real one like they use to. I took part in the destruction of one just to see how they were put together. Sadly a lot of farms get bought up around here and they tear down any structure without regard... even if its not really in the way of their building... they just don't want to deal with it.
ОтветитьReally concrete frame and slab with stone veneer.
ОтветитьThis is not a timelapse, but rather a chronological arranged set of pics. Very nice build though.
ОтветитьA fantastic video but I would love to see some of the process that they went through, Fitting? Cutting? Shaping? to make the stones fit together so beautifully!
ОтветитьWould have like to have seen the inside when competed ..
