That music hits me with such a big nostalgia.
Its like what as kids we thought simcity 5 or 6 would looks like.
Its even impresive that some skyscrapers and low income flats are pretty similiar to simcity 4.
And that breath of nuclear powerplant it really feels like something from old simcity.
And that music is truly perfect(second part with song electricity is glorious, i remembered that concept trailer on simcity 5 which had around 100 thousands views, it was fanmade one, but it truly show the future of city builders). Hopefully we will see mod that add music from Simcity 4, but not just from this one. Simcity 5 or amazing soundtrack from Cities XL.
If you make another video, please add 2009 Cities XL music(i recomend main theme and atmosphere 6, it would fit so well with your megacity).

Rockin' music, never played SC beyond the second one but dropping the LOD on the C:S graphics gives it a most 16-bit feel, almost 8-bit in some places. Not sure I'd want to chill 'n' build to the music but for cinematic stuff it's top draw.

More than 20 years later SimCity 4 is still an awesome city builder. The soundtrack was out of this earth, and while the game was complex it made a lot of sense. In some areas it's still unmatched by Cities skylines to this date.

SimCity4 was my absolute favorite game as a kid. Id play it forever! I find myself binging CS2 and feeling the same nostalgia. I can't wait to see how they keep improving the game.

thanks to the modding community and masterpieces like NAM, SC4 still is the best city builder out there. Sorry CS1.

One thing MAXIS did right was the music. Their sound design was so good.

I miss these vivid colors and high contrast. The CS2 color pallet is so drab and gray.

Immediately heard "Epicenter" playing and I knew this was a gem of a video. Have these 2 tracks on my City Builder playlist and both hit hard.

I have tried a few city builders, including Cities Skylines 1 & 2, Simcity 5 (absoute garbage), and Transport Fever 2 (not really a city builder but still counts in my opinion).

Overall I have to say that CS 2 has to be the best of the bunch, even with all the criticism it recieves. The only lacking thing from CS 1 are the mods, I wish CO would just use Steam Workshop like in CS 1 :(

Also really pissed off that CS 2 does not have bikes and bike infrastructure management, anyone following urbanist content knows how important bike infra is for cities.

Funny thing is it CS2 was made in part by devs from Simcity 4

to all sim city lovers, i had the 2000 , 3000 and now SC4DE but i have one question for all users, how can i mount SC4DE into a laptop ? if i have windows 10 on two laptops mount or disk drive attach....I L O V E SC all versions
