Perfect timing! I’m literally going to the hardware store today to pick up a can of green paint to transform one of my thrifted furniture pieces
ОтветитьI like green. My house is blue walls and green accents, like nature, blue skies and trees.
Ответить❤️❤️❤️
Ответить25 years ago I did my house in mainly sage green with a decorator consult. I remember her telling me green want a color. Guess who want my consultant any longer. I did what I liked and in this house I repeated many of the same colors. I have brought in blonde in by sherwin Williams. Those go together nicely.
ОтветитьThat was an awesome video. Thank you!
ОтветитьLoving your inspiration
ОтветитьGreen is my favorite color. I use it in every room. If you love English country style the PBS series “All Creatures Great And Small,” have the most beautiful shades and uses of green ever!!!❤
ОтветитьI always learn something when I watch your videos. Sage green is a colour shade that I can remember being in for the last 20 some years. My daughter had it in her first home and she left home 20 years ago. I wish I loved to live with it, but I don't. I have had shades of red in my home for the last forty years and I can't see that changing. Thank you for the video, I'm hoping you will show us your home soon??
ОтветитьI love green. I’m new to your channel. I look forward to your future videos.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing I have new look on sage green which I love. Paint/wallpaper.😊❤
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this about how to use green ❤
ОтветитьThks ❤😊😮
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this video, great information 😊❤
Ответить💗💗💗
ОтветитьGorgeous ! I just got myself a sage green jacket that I like, even though I never thought I looked good in that color.
ОтветитьGreat video! Always so clear concise. Can’t wait to see where this goes.
ОтветитьThis was very interesting,so easy to understand I will be looking at some greens ❤
ОтветитьThis video is perfect timing! I'm going to do my home in shades of green, it's my favourite. Lots of fantastic ideas here. I live in a cold climate (actually one the coldest year round parts of Australia) I'm thinking the warmer greens might be better suited🤔. I've put up all my vintage Sheridan cottage floral curtains and bedlinen and want to pick up the green in part of the pattern. Thankyou for sharing. Really appreciate your channel and decorating style 💚😊
ОтветитьBeautiful & very helpful. I came here from Sarah's channel. Glad I did x
ОтветитьLove your content…always refer to your channel for research and cottage style…thank you for sharing !
ОтветитьGood morning, Ms. Rachel! What a feast for the eyes! Greens and blues have always been a favorite of mine. The palettes and wall coverings all look promising. Looking forward to seeing what you choose for your next project. Thank you for sharing. ❤ Bobbie.
ОтветитьSo basically you are just using Pinterest pictures!
ОтветитьRachel, I finally was able to watch this video. What fun! I enjoyed your color play. I really liked how you incorporated the wardrobe segments. It's very interesting to see how the colors we like are reflected in different areas of our life. Blessings my friend! 💙
ОтветитьThis is your Olive Garden friend! This video helped encourage me in choosing green for my kitchen cabinets. Thank you!!
ОтветитьI've always had green around me, even as a small child. I think it's the deep connection to nature that inspires this. Also dark pinks and burgundies I love mixing in with green. Have a lovely weekend Rachel 😊 xx
ОтветитьI adore green. It's my favorite color. My living room is painted in a light sage green - it's actually a color I created by mixing several paint samples together and having the hardware store color match it. I was struggling to find the perfect warm, light, cozy, and calm sage for the living room, which is the main room of my house. The sage living room is paired with a warm beige couch and rocking chair, plus tan ticking stripe curtains, and pops of reddish coral throughout. I have some red plaid pillows, red transferware dishes on the wall, and a beige rug with a terracotta pattern. I just love the combination of green & red together (and not just in a Christmas-y way!) This video inspired me to do a blue and green theme for my bedroom. I think I will go with a lighter sage on my bedroom walls & complement it with a blue and green rug, blue transferware on the walls, and beige plaid curtains. Love your channel, can't wait to read the blog post for this video!
ОтветитьAnd yes, please more videos about wallpaper!!
ОтветитьGreen is the ultimate color, I don’t understand how it’s been neglected for so long in designs. One thing to note about green is that it acts as a neutral color yet it brings in some personality depending on the saturation and tone used. It’s funny cause I have a cottage with very very little lighting except the bedroom and bathroom, so I stuck with yellow/cream walls to brighten the space yet not have it be too stark with an all white walls. However, for my bedroom I knew I wanted something a little calmer so I had a green called cucumber green, reminds me of a spa oasis haha, and then I stenciled with white a design called birds of paradise, and have one accent walls where the doors are at white white bead board. The combination turned out so lovely and relaxing.
Like I said, green is the ultimate color, just got to know how to use it properly.
My home is English cottage, farmhouse with a touch of traditional. My husband and I painted our entire home inside with Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. The trim is white and we use shades of blue, green and yellow throughout. This soft cottage style is so relaxing and we love it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and ideas with us.
ОтветитьI love sage with pinks and creams.
ОтветитьI already watch Sarah. I love her channel.
ОтветитьI love our Zen Green sage paint and Green Tea Stained bookcase in bedroom. I need calm, peace and bliss when I go to bed.
ОтветитьI just love your channel!. I have been binge watching your videos from the beginning. I have received so much inspiration from you but yet don't feel pressured or inadequate with what I've done. You are so calming, entertaining and informative! Thanks so much and I'll look forward to future videos!!
Ответитьvery interesting video
ОтветитьHi Rachel. This was fun. My favorite surprised me as I usually go for light and airy. The brown wallpaper is fabulous. Very 40s-50s looking. My favorite green us a soft spring green. Cheers!
ОтветитьI’ve been designing homes for over 30 years and the shade of green that continues to elevate, get higher asking prices, looks great with every other shade and never gets old is Ralph Lauren’s-mexican feathergrass
ОтветитьI love green! Such great info in this video…I’ll be using it as a reference when I paint my bathroom! ❤️
ОтветитьMrs.Rachel, Green is a timeless color for sure. Beautiful
ОтветитьI love wall paper Thank You Maxine Ok
ОтветитьI love all shades of GREEN.
ОтветитьI love the green on the Duval cabinets! Would you know a Ben Moore or Sherwin Williams paint color that would be a close match?
ОтветитьAnd getting ready to start another project. This one is painting a China cabinet. The color I chose, green, of course.
ОтветитьOur kitchen walls are green. The 1/2 bath has the same green on the cabinets & ceiling with a wallpaper. The main bath green cabinets and wallpaper. The green in these rooms has been so easy to decorate with, as each season changes! It’s so soothing.
ОтветитьI would have to have complementary when it came to wall paper. The paper itself is enough busy
ОтветитьI love Kirsten and Jurge
