TCM Comments on Duel (1971)

Thank you for sharing this segment with Ben Mankiewicz, and his thoughts about the early talent of Steven Spielberg.

Duel was clever, scary and well done. For any out there that has not seen it, don't, as Ben said, dismiss it cause it was a made for TV movie.

Cool scary looking truck but rather silly movie, that car could have easily avoided that lumbering truck in a number of ways😂

Duel is such a fantastic film. Although when I first saw it as a kid I was rather troubled by what I saw as a weird ending (which I won’t spoil, despite it being over 50 year old 😂)
