I generally agree with most things Bill says but he's got to get off bashing the Covid response. Does everyone forget that at the time the hospitals were being overwhelmed and nobody knew how contagious or dangerous the virus was? Masking up and having a lock down is a standard response in a pandemic, would people rather roll the dice and have twice as many deaths? And why is Mayim, a scientist, nodding her head in agreement? Science and medicine generally errs on the side of caution, because that is the "wise" thing to do. Mayim seems like a wise person but should have gently disagreed with Bill on this like other guests rightly have.

I used to like Mayim Bialik, but it turned out she's not a smart as I thought , or at least she has some crazy ideas including anti-vaxing. She also turned out to be a hard core Zionist, which was disappointing.

You have great guests. Let us hear what they have to say. We rarely get to hear them in a long format, and that is what makes the show so interesting. We already know your opinions on most topics.

I met Mayim when I opened my boutique Aida Ley in Beverly Hills in 1992.I had seen her in the movie Beaches and foll in love w her character...and if I ever had any kid ( never did ) would have like to be like her.All different celebrities walking in and out ..never expressed as I did when Mayim walked in and recognizing her right way .
We became friends mostly w her admirable parents . ....amazing sense of humor and lovely .I was right in admiring Mayim and do follow her till today she sure is one of a kind and what a talent !!! Enjoyed the interview very much !!!

Bill talking bull about movies' length. He understands things primitively, skin-deep. Movie lengths, marriage, politics... - he's an "expert" on everything. There are movies that last only an hour and a half but they feel too long and there are movies that last about 3 hours but don't feel too long at all. It depends on the movie.

When I was a teenager, I watched Bill Maher with my parents every Friday. I’ve yet to miss a show and am in my mid-30s. I don’t always agree with Maher’s conclusions/positions, but I love the variety of people he brings on.

I do wish there was more parity with women commentators and journalists, especially when there are topics that involve women’s bodies/rights.
