its a weird thing to have the elden beast loaded in in its rough location from a place that cant see it and that is relatively far away
whether its a cool attention to detail or poor optimization ill leave that to you to decide

I found something strange up in the skies in Caelid. By climbling a scarlet tree and looking up at a certail angle/place you can see a stream of oil/blood (?) pouring down from the sky. Anyone else noticed this ?

That makes so much sense of why you can invade Elden beasts arena because it's below the capital still in the future invasion pool

I'm so disappointed to learn that the final boss that was already in the base game is the only thing in the shadow of the Erdtree.

i tried doing this trick with malenias blade and i think they patched it

Interestingly the Elden beast is strikingly similar to a nudibranch. Or sea slug!

I think what they were going for was pretty, cosmic galaxy clusters + nudibranch + other aquatic features + arms & legs?? + idk the neurons for a tail! It even looks vaguely draconic with its long neck and everything else all together.

As for its interior, it evokes the real world similarity between the distribution of matter in the universe and the connections between neurons in the brain, in Elden beast’s case it’s as if it’s body’s very nervous system are the golden stars.

11/10 boss design, very much giving Great old one

Also one thing from a lore perspective that’s interesting is the wound on its middle area, is this a wound from Marina shattering the Elden ring? Since the Elden beast is the Elden ring after all right?

I wonder why they’re prespawned if they added the ability to dynamically spawn npcs?

i, personally think that the hand of malenia being the root of pretty much every out of bounds exploit is nice, you kill the hardest boss and mizaki is just like "heres noclip, have fun!"

So... can you farm the Elden Beast?

So we all know the Elden Beast IS the Elden Ring right? Looks like some kind of fish you'd find if space was an ocean. Hmm, who else looks like a space fish and IS right under the Erdtree? Oh and also becomes part of the Elden Ring. Would this imply that Godwyn's "rebirth" is him becoming the new Elden Beast when you become the new Elden Lord (provided you chose that ending of course)

So the fight is actually in the roots of the tree, very logical for... this.

Only after watching the original video and then this did the memory of reaching The Old One slam back into my head.

Idk, i really wish they leaned more into the hallucigenia inspiration for the elden beast. The arms and legs make it look more goofy and less alien to me.

Nothing extra, no fluff, just straight content. That's why I drop likes for every video I see. This level of professionalism is just too rare these days.

I suppose it'd cut down on load times between fights, if you load all of this at once. I dunno, I never played any of these games.

But what about the Econd and Ourth trees?!

Wait so that means if a bug finder ever finds a way to get down there safely AND traverse the fog wall... Could you hit the Elden Beast and kill it without triggering him to attack like other bosses? It would be a massive skip in speedruns.

This is how speedrunners who used the flying horse glitch were able to get Hoarah Loux or Elden Beast killed without actually fighting em for the remembrances.

I like seeing out of bounds things in games. It makes the game feels small. Almost like a lego set or something. I also like seeing how the game works through these out of bounds things. Like how Horah Loux is just always ready to go outside of bounds.

So what I thought were multiple Erdtrees making my entire fucking reality cave in were just the Erdtree roots? Okay that makes sense
