Function - One to One or Many to One. IF its anything else which is One to many, then its not a function. Each integer in the domain can have one result in the range, or several integers can be linked to one result in the range, but a function cannot have one integer in the domain linked/in relation to more than one result in the range. That's what i understood at least. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Where did the -7 come from in the range section? How can you associate “3” in the domain with “-7”. I dont see any 7 in the x or y values of these pairs. Help

Can someone describe, for curiosity's sake, some real world type example of the situation where a domain member does not map to a single range member, but to more than one possible range member?

Okay but mine says :
T={(x,y)|x is the son of y}
Determine the domain and range for the relation
Answer Choices for Domain: Males, Females, Brothers, Sisters.
Answer Choices for Range: Parents of Boys, Parents of girls, all people, people with brothers, people with sisters

Simple Way: A function can not have two of the same x values but it can have two of the same y values.
