I collect Sharon/Cabbage Rose in all colors of clear, amber, pink and green. My favorite is green because it matches my wedding china which has a green, pink and yellow floral band. I get many compliments on my collection and use it for special occasions and occasionally for every day. I love it.
ОтветитьI collect the green depression glass!
ОтветитьBeautiful bisque vase!!❤️
ОтветитьEnjoy viewing your videos each week. The wealth of knowledge you share is phenomenal. My first love in Crystal dining ware continues to be Princess House. Considering it is from French, what are your thoughts on why Princess House seems to hover on the lower price scale when compared to other crystals dinnerware. I am a collector and have some unusual pieces.
ОтветитьOne of my frequented antique malls. Thanks for everything.
ОтветитьJust a fabulous visit! You always share so much history and comprehensive information on my favorite antiques. Such a fine eye…well done again! Thank you so very much! ❤❤
Ответить“Value, quality, and craftsmanship”—well said, Mary Beth.
ОтветитьWhat craftsmanship in that furniture with carving, inlay and clever design for the table leaves! No wonder it stood the test of time. I can’t imagine 300 years from now antique store shoppers looking at IKEA Billy bookcases manufactured today! 😂
ОтветитьI have a few pieces of pink depression glass--so fun to add in to a pretty table without needing to have a set.
ОтветитьExquisite items Just butiful …..🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🇨🇦👍❤️
ОтветитьMax Miller is a gem and Houston is lucky to have him! Thanks for sharing your visit at his store.
ОтветитьAll of the antique furniture pieces are amazing. I collect Kaiser vases, find them at thrift stores here in NJ. Thank you for the take along.
ОтветитьInteresting and very informative - thank you!! Scales are probably greengrocer’s scales. Sweet shop scales would not be so big or heavy and would have an oval shaped bowl with a pointed opening at one end for pouring sweets into bags. Some English fine china miniature pieces were not salesman’s samples, they were used in doll houses.
ОтветитьI almost passed out when you picked up the Fenton Basket., I WAS TOLD NEVER TO PICK
UP GLASS BASKETS FROM THE HANDLE. They crack at the starting of the handle,,
Thank you Sweetie for showing us all these BEAUTIFUL ITEMS., ❤️💖💖💖
I had a set of that green ballerina pattern depression glass, which I sold at a garage sale in the eighties, but I kept my Grandmother's green optic block set. Yes, a premium with Mother's Oats. Thanks for showing the lovely furniture.
ОтветитьI was fortunate to obtain fancy wash stand with 2 doors & a mirror insert & the marble on the back & top is a lovely pink & grey; love it.
ОтветитьI just found a Fenton rose bowl for 2.00 at a rummage sale it's in excellent condition. I collect the green depression too.
Ответить😅
ОтветитьFinally had a chance to watch. All 3 stores have outstanding pieces. I really do like the Max Miller store. Thanks for taking us along!
ОтветитьLots of nice items, very beautiful ❤️😊
ОтветитьFor years I have collected the green and/or pink depression or elegant glass. As a child, I was so excited when my grandmother bought powder laundry detergent, she would always let me look for and open whatever premium glass piece was hiding inside! I think that is when my LOVE of glass, crystal and colorful glass items captured my heart ❣️I so appreciate your videos and wonderful information that you share with us ❤
ОтветитьSo Many Fine Goodies😊 I inherited some Depression Glass from my Grandmother 💜Over the years I have collected more💜
ОтветитьOh my, the furniture is just beautiful. You could spend days in the China department! I noticed crazing on bottom of plates. Is that because of its age? Can you still use this china, in spite of crazing?
ОтветитьHi Max! My console dish arrived yesterday. I love it! Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI like your dress❤
ОтветитьI just went to this shop today. It was great! The owner was so nice to talk to. Very knowledgeable and full of info about every piece in his shop.
ОтветитьLady Beth is extremely class and so informative. She looks great on camera and her stories / videos are very entertaining. She should be PBS:)
ОтветитьOwn several Marbro lamps and each one is magnificent. You keep mentioning Henredon Furniture as being really great furniture. I do agree that they make fine furniture, however, check out Karges Furniture. You will find some of the greatest bench-made furniture crafted. Their finishes are second to none. I speak from experience, and if I had a choice between Henredon and Karges, Karges would win hands down!
ОтветитьLoved meeting Max Miller. We found some beautiful items!
ОтветитьI have my Mom's green depression glass she collected back in the 60's. And discovered it glows under black light! You should do a video on uranium glass. My local antique stores mentioned to me there is a new interest. People showing up with blacklight flashlights....looking for the glow!!
ОтветитьI collect the Pink Depression glass mainly but I have a couple of pieces in green and blue. I also collect Fire King mainly in the gold but have some pics in the pearlescent white. I have the Jeanette pitcher and 8 glasses with white design. I'm looking for the Madiera pattern either old or reproduction in plates saucers cups and salad plates or bowls. I love my collections. I can't afford to pay a lot as I'm on social security now which isn't much but would still like to have at least 4 place settings. Then I would be complete. I also have a pink deviled egg tray that I treasure which I know of only 2. I'm sure there's more around but I hunted a long time for that. Love it all!!!
ОтветитьElegant and beautiful.Greetings from Kerala , India.
ОтветитьI have my grandmother’s Fostoria, rose bowl, top hat and candelabra. I cherish it!!! This glassware is stunning!!! I have some of the other pieces shown! Thank you for sharing this! ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThe etched glass is so delicate. Lacy. I think it’s so light and elegant.
ОтветитьWell, would have been nice to let Max talk!
ОтветитьIts spelled chinoiserie!
ОтветитьI have four households worth of antique glassware and dishes. My parents were antique dealers. My grandmothers were collectors. Some of it is worth a bunch of money.
ОтветитьWow how do you dust? Nice shop🇨🇦
ОтветитьThank you your knowledge. Can you add to it the us of this pieces you feature.
ОтветитьI have a decent collection of Azure Blue Fostoria 5098 Versailles stem ware, dishes, servers etc. that I inherited from my mother’s side of the family. It is quite beautiful. It is fun to see it in pink.
