Thank you so much for this audio! I have been woken 2 mornings in a row at about 6am to this sound and I was unsure whether it was powerful owl or tawny frogmouth - now I know it’s the former 🦉 🙏✨🙏🏾 I was surprised by how close to daybreak it was calling..
ОтветитьIt took me thirty seconds to realize it was just a photo
ОтветитьI could hear 2 tonight calling to each other ... I think
ОтветитьWhere can I report that I have powerful owls so that I can conserve this area and trees? I witnessed one two weeks ago swooping down and grabbing a flying fox. It was unbelievable!!!!
ОтветитьThey are adorable! Noah ..Grey Poupon,( Distinguish Gentlemen) Lincoln..Say it one more time..HootHoot..I told you not to Disrespect My Dad...(Trading Places)..Hilarious.....😂😅🤣🤣🙃Omg!
ОтветитьBrilliant and penetrating
Ответитьi heard this loud call at 2.30am this morning and you have identified the cause. we are so happy.
ОтветитьI love you powerful owl and miss you so much. There is a statue here in Stockholm that depicts you in human form. Thank you. We lost the fight for Pearl Owl but not in vain. Lucky am I to know you..
Ответитьgood
ОтветитьWhat's the background bird please??
ОтветитьEvery night in Pennant Hills/Westleigh/Thornleigh area around the Benowie Walking Track.
ОтветитьI Live in the Southern Highlands NSW and there is a pair near me that I heard last night
ОтветитьIts like midnight and i just start hearing this sound
ОтветитьOohh spooky
ОтветитьWe have them in Dayboro. lovely bird
ОтветитьDo they ever call during the day? I hear sounds like this during the day but have never been able to locate its source
ОтветитьIt's 1:19 am and just randomly starting hearing a owl hooting outside my window I live in the mountains with quite a number of possum around my house so it's not strange but still cool as hell
ОтветитьIt's 1.15am and I can hear one calling now for the second night in a row, down in the valley towards Oxford Falls, on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Unfortunately I've never seen one, only the headless possum and bloody footprints one left on next door neighbour's side path!
ОтветитьI went down to investigate the banging on the shed roof at St Andrews (Melbourne) - it was a Powerful Owl getting the Ringtail Possums as they went home. It swooped me 3 times, telling me to go away. (I took the hint when I felt the wind from its wings).
ОтветитьI love those sounds
ОтветитьWow I heard this last night! I was just about to go to sleep and she starting hooting! I even saw a possum carcass with his head eaten and signs of the owl being close by! I was taken by surprise when I heard the sound!
ОтветитьI live in royal national park and I hear one every night have only got one photo but can only see the silhouette and eyes I worry it will take my cats
ОтветитьI am awake now 2.06am listening to this call. Ferntree Gully, very cool! Now to find it!
ОтветитьI am positive that I listen to a female every couple of nights in South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. She's very good at taking our possums and I have seen her. She's huge.
ОтветитьSaw one in Forest Lake tonight. They are massive.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know what the whistling one in the background is?
