I have been working from home since 2020 and could never quite put to words what core thing I was missing from the office. I've been burnt out and so lonely, so unable to focus on my job that I've nearly lost it several times.

I am not what I would call a typical extrovert, I dislike being interrupted when I'm doing something and often would put on headphones with music when the noise level got too loud and intrusive. However, I do my best work when actively tuning out these excess noises because the level of stimulation I need to be my most productive is much higher than a lot of people.

Hearing people in my immediate team talking to one another sometimes is still missing but I will take what good I can to get back on track. Google couldn't figure out what I was trying to search for, but you did and I, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I am glad there are people out there enjoying this. For me it is pretty anxiety inducing :D

Lol this is so funny. Like, these are the noises I hear around me, which make it impossible for me to concentrate, so i have to play other sounds like rain or white noise or whatever to drown them out. So interesting that other ppl have the opposite!

I know this was made for covid times but as someone who still works remote I am so grateful for this! I’m sure my coworkers would laugh but they still have all the office noises! I’ve since moved states and no longer have their chatter in the background 🥺

I wish my open office sounded like this. Instead it sounds like people loudly talking over each other, sometimes yelling, some play music to cancel out all the talking. The acoustics are terrible too with epoxy concrete floors. It's impossible to concentrate and get work done.

That ain't real office noises. True office noises has regularly annoying laughs, loud voices, swearing, whistling random notes, and almost everything else you can imagine from hell.
