This is my all-time favourite game. So much fun and so many good memories!

This was a fantastic stream. I used to play this game a lot and it's really fun to get to revisit it like this. It's impressive how well many GBA games aged; this one is nothing short of beautiful to look at even in 2022. Super looking forward to more of this playthrough.

Arguably my favorite Mario game of all time. I remember writing out some of the later puzzles in my notebook. Very excited to watch this playthrough!

It's kind of random, but i particularly like how the waterfalls flow in this game ; it's so smooth.

I prefer to focus on attacking Popple first. You get more coins and Experience Points.

Fun Mario & Luigi fact. In each game past Superstar Saga. Your damage is multiplied by your level, a level 2 character deals at least double the damage of a level 1 one. One exception is bowser in BiS who has an 8 added to his level so his damage doesn't skyrocket at level 2. This addition is missing in the remake resulting in people breezing past the first zone after a single level up.

the flame statues design while on fire is really good. perhaps a bit underrated. feels like they got a spooky flashlight-esqe design.

This game brings back a ton of memories, played it a loooot back in the day too, a really fun time.

mario looks drugged

I have a very distinctive memory of the game locking up during the Hoohooros fight as a kid. It happened when I got an advanced, so I was freaked out by getting advanced and fighting bosses for the rest of the game

one of my all time favorite rpgs, along with pokemon being my first rpgs i liked

an absolute gem that corporate decided would take over paper mario's gameplay and writing, ending up killing mario rpgs. the world sucks

Hey ! Actual viewer from France and just wanted you to know that I was lmao listening to you try to say French words and speak with a Hollywood French accent. I say "Hollywood French accent" because, trust me, the real French accent is not nearly as sexy XD Anywho, honest attempt but overall hilarious because of the epic fail.
P.S. for anyone interested, the "Zee" thing comes from the fact that the "th-" sound English is so fond of is NONEXISTENT in French and the "z" sound is the closest that beginners can do. So zere you go.

All i have to say is thank GOD you are playing the GBA original and not the DS remake.
DS remake is...fine...but it loses a lot of the charm that made this game so great with the art change.

Passport photos can be redone by paying a guy with a camera in beanbean castle town

Fun fact, whenever the enemy would say "I have fury" my siblings and I would read it as "I have furry" and our mom never corrected us. We didn't realize it until way later.
