A few questions tho: I realize you're packing the food along with an ice pack, but do you pack the food warm straight from stovetop to lunch container, or do you let it cool off first? Why don't you pack all warm food (like the rice with shrimp and broccoli) in the thermos cup?

does the bentago box keep the rice good by lunch time?

Shrimp and chicken, at room temperature, for hours? that seems like a bad idea. Chili is the only thing that is attempted to keep it warm...Does the thermos keep it at a safe temperature for 3 hours? Are these lunches for kids that have refrigeration at school? I don't see myself using any of these except maybe apples and peanut butter.
