Android Authority states the Mi Stick will have 2GB of Ram and 8GB of storage. So it is very likely a typo. Having said that, the Mi Stick street price would have to be well below the Box S because the box has the valuable USB 2.0 port which when paired with a USB 3.0 to Ethernet dongle adapter would still give you 350-400Mbps wired connections. Wired connections as we all know are far more reliable than Wifi connections.

I think things would get more excited if Xiaomi released an updated Mi Box with gigabit ethernet or at least a usb 3.0 port to utilize full gigabit ethernet speeds. 4GB of ram would also be very nice.

Ok it's all good thats why you stick to what you know I have the firestick 4k everything comes out new is not meant for every one but if a person feels they need it or they want it than so be it to each is your own me personally I'll pass

I 100% agree with you ! When we are talking about $50 price, 1GB device is pointles, even 2GB will be no go, because Mi Box S is same but with USB and Audio port. TiVo Stream 4K is also $50 and has 2GB RAM, Firestick 4K has 1.5Gb is also $50 , but it's ofhten on sale, sometimes even half price. if they want to compete, make stick with 2GB RAM, 8GB storage with $30 price like Roku has budget options and new box 3-4GB RAM and 16-32GB storage with price $50-80 so it will be better than TiVo, Fire and Box S and will be kind of budget alternative for Nvdia.

You hit it right on the nail with the box coming 4 gigs of RAM and stick coming with 2 gigs of RAM.
