ОтветитьIf you think Alex is a clown...watch his Rock Hall induction speech...it's Epic
ОтветитьRed Barchetta, Natural Science
ОтветитьGreat reaction ! I just discovered your channel & you did an amazing intro explaining your Rush beginning ( so I've been binge watching) - alot of your comments make me think you would love this other awesome 3 piece Canadian band "Triumph "( if your not familiar with) guaranteed not to be disappointed!
ОтветитьWatch Neil’s drum solo in Frankfurt, the very last song on their very last album the Garden you get help but cry every time knowing who they are and YYZ in Rio these as well as any other rush song or video will blow your mind !!!!!!!
ОтветитьIf you like Rush, you should listen to Dream Theater.
ОтветитьLOVE LISTENINGTO YOU.BIG RUSH FAN
ОтветитьThink Alex is funny, watch the RUSH induction speech from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
ОтветитьI remember trying to drum to this ( and I do mean t r y i n g), failing miserably, getting pissed and frustrated, about to quit; when I heard a voice in my head ( I kid you not) saying " don't try to be me--be you & don't try to play like me--play like you". Mr. Peart reminded me music is joy, a release, expression. One of many lessons from the " Professor"
Ответить❤❤❤❤ 🇨🇦
Ответитьlove your reactions to this amazing band. can't wait for you to see some of Neil's drum solos, especially live in Frankfurt.
Ответить🤗 Back for a re-watch. Your joy for Rush is so cool & refreshing on such a 🌞 blistering hot day! ☺️ Like an Ice Tea! 🤭😊🥰🐰
ОтветитьNeil's snare is killing it here.
ОтветитьThere is another Canadian band trio that is also a great band and might have Rush beat as the nicest guys in rock- Triumph. I've been fortunate to see them both live in the early 80s (Rush twice). Rik Emmet- guitar and vocals especially is a super nice guy.
ОтветитьRush is always good. I live in Montreal & they're from Toronto, so they used to stop here on a regular basis--saw them live several times in the 1980' s & 1990's. I was never disappointed by them. Have a nice day.
Ответить“Alex is a clown” ! I’m sure you have seen his Hall of Fame introductions speech. Probably the only introduction speech I will ever listen to twice. 🤣 ♥️
ОтветитьYou must love Rush more than anyone that I ever knew
ОтветитьIf you're into doing Rush live versions, I mean no disrespect to my favourite band of all time, stay within those 4 live concerts to see them at their very best : Exit stage left (1981), Grace under pressure tour (1985), A show of hands (1988 or 1989) and R30. After that Geddy's voice started to sound a bit like grandpa Simpson and the band is starting to show a bit of tiredness. That being said, every song sounds amazing in those 4 concerts and the boys are just sooooo on top of their game it is ridiculous. I've seen them 17 times between 1989 and 2014 and I can attest that in the 80's their live shows was where you wanted to be. More of this please ! Love seeing a new Rush fan discover their music !!!!!
ОтветитьEverything is great.....
....You Geddy's voice, kinda rough
That's to be expected. React to the studio tracks.
Alex always does some weird stuff on stage while playing , he’s the goof ball of the treo.
ОтветитьCheck out their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Alex is hilarious Blah Blah Blah
ОтветитьThat ending was improvised, that is not the original ending of the song, cool how they added that. Also, yes Alex is the goof ball of the 3 , you should listen to his acceptance speech at the Rock and roll hall of fame. , Blah , blah ,blah , for real he did that.
ОтветитьNice guys, you're having a laugh? Ayn Rand anybody?
ОтветитьThey're Canadian not American
ОтветитьDidn't you see the red maple leaf on the video
ОтветитьYeap.. Rush freak is back! ❤🎉😂
ОтветитьYou said they are like the nicest guys and that is so true. I saw a documentary on Rush and before they were world famous, when they opened for other rock band, the famous rock band members would be out partying before or after a performance, and they said Getty, Alex, and Neil would be in their rooms resting up or practicing. Definitely non-typical for a rock band. Since you love drums, you need to check out Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir from Celebration Day in 2007. One off performance. When it was announced they were doing this show, 20 million people tried to get tickets being offered lottery style for 20,000 seats. Original drummer John Bonham’s son Jason was the drummer for this concert and was INCREDIBLE 👍👍🙏.
ОтветитьThe ending was an add on from the original studio version. Where Neil got up and then sat back down .
ОтветитьGood job you pulled this from the Snakes and Arrows concert tour. There are many great songs on this tour.
ОтветитьGood job you pulled this from the Snakes and Arrows concert tour. There are many great songs on this tour.
ОтветитьYou have no idea how much of a clown Alex really is , there are many videos showing his antics. Rush in Rio video is one where he is clowning his wife at breakfast in the hotel. Just saying.
ОтветитьNow i know, rush is real.
ОтветитьSad, neil peart died. Never rush till my death.
ОтветитьNie mehr wird es ein Konzert geben
ОтветитьWhen ever you do 2112 play the live video version from Test for Echoes tour. This is a live version in its original version, the only other 2112 live version is All the Worlds Stage in Audio only. But in All the Worlds Stage they played By-Tor and Snow Dog in its original version after 2112, with the long guitar solos.
ОтветитьI bet you would really enjoy Rivendell from Fly By Night
ОтветитьAlso , just as a reminder, almost every reaction you have done is from LIVE PERFORMANCES, and that says a lot to their musicianship on stage LIVE better than their studio versions. The gods are masters at making great music.
ОтветитьOf course they're nice, they're Canadian!
ОтветитьHe gets high on you and the energy you trade
He gets right on to the friction of the day
You might not have been told but in the background where the washers have been is now chicken's cooking in portable ovens.
ОтветитьAwww man you skipped the South Park intro😢go back and check it out(if you haven’t already)totally worth it.🤘🖖✌️🎸🥁🎹🎤
ОтветитьI saw that tour.
ОтветитьSo genuin reaction🤩 Luv it
ОтветитьIf you or anyone , just checkout "Exit Stage Left" live ,much love to all 🙏🩵😎
ОтветитьI saw them as a young kid after this song came out, then again as a mature adult in '02, and then took my son to see them in 2012. I LOVE Rush!
Ответить❤ 👉 Rush! You understand now! 😂 🎉
ОтветитьIt's still a bitter, bitter pill that we'll never see them live again. First saw them in 1981 and countless, countless times thereafter.
You are absolutely right...they are the nicest guys in rock.
It may sound pretentious, but they are the only band I've ever listened to and felt my appreciation of life and the world expand exponentially.
Another good song on that album is vital signs live from Cleveland
