What do you use your computer for (Streaming, Gaming, Video Editing)? What graphics card do you have? Are you thinking of upgrading?

Thanks for the video, it was very interesting. It would be very useful to have an update after 2 years, especially now that both new CPUs and GPUs have been introduced by manufacturers and the prices of all components have changed.

Great video! Not a lot of videos about gpu exclusively for video editing! Please make a 2022 update! How about 2060 ko 6gb vs 2060 xc 12 gb for video editing? I use a program called topaz video that uses almost gpu exclusively. Thank you!

You would be happy to know I just ordered Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 because of your video.

This information is still extremely helpful for those on a limited budget looking to find a GPU for editing and/or streaming. As a bonus, we are reminded how normal GPU prices once looked, not too long ago!!! Thanks for sharing!

You should do an internal capture card review.

My 2060 8 core laptop was a huge editing upgrade. 1650 laptop does well with 24/7 streaming (not streaming games).

Really like your videos and content. They cover all of the questions.
What GPU would you recommend for photo editing ? Using applications like Photoshop and lightroom.

This seems to be the 'perfect' video for my current thought process. I've been wanting to get back into gaming and was trying to decide console vs PC, and have only recently realized upgrading my PC for gaming may not be a feasible option. I also do editing with After Effects and my current PC is having a heart attack each time I render. So I thought I would go with a console for the gaming and focus on improving the PC performance for vid editing and 3D modeling; rather than trying to go the PC gaming route (for now). Can't have it all so need to go with what's most important to my plans. Thanks for the info.

I'm looking at 2 laptops with similar specs. The only difference is that one has an rtx 2060 (don't think it's the ko version) and one has a rtx 2080 super. The one with the 2080 super is like $400 more - is it worth it? I would be using this for 4k editing.

I wouldn't mind seeing an update to this video to see if your opinion changes with the Radeon 6000 series and the Nvidia 3000 series GPUs.

Thanks for doing this type of video focusing on this specific area of the PC, basically all guides and reviews talk about gaming instead of video rendering. My only doubt is since this video is almost one year old, I wonder if AMD drivers have ever got better for rendering. In my country both GTX 1650 SUPER and RX 5500 XT cost the same and perform pretty similar in gaming too. Since I don't have a dedicated GPU and I would like to do a bit of gaming now and then, I want to upgrade for one of those two.
Do you think NVIDIA is still the way to go or does the RX 5500 XT could be a good choice too?

Once again, thank you for this useful video / guide!

Is it safe to say that these graphics cards are also recommended for heavy graphic designing? Like editing in Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign all at the same time? Thank you!

I built a computer for video editing. Ryzen 9 3900X, Asus X570 plus wifi, 32 gig 3600 ram, GeForce GTX 960 4gig. Premier pro is STILL lagging editing 4k video and adding effects.anyone know why? Do I need a better GPU?

Great stuff man! Subbed. My friends and I have a group channel on YT where we do live debunking shows, a talk show with say 5 people, some documentary stuff and so on. Maybe you would be into joining us on our show PubChat where we just hangout and chat about what we want. We have some real tech heads on the team so it would be some good fun. Please let me know. Channel is EiE Network.

So glad I found this video. I'm trying to build my first video editing PC (gaming not really a consideration) and I was stuck on where to go with the gpu. It'll be Ryzen 7 (3800x on a good deal), x570 mobo and 32g ram. Most sites are so focused on gaming benchmarks. Thanks to you, I now have a bit more knowledge and has helped me to focus my search on a Gtx/Rtx option as opposed to the Rx 5600 or 5700.
