I stack them because they can be purchased ad sold for close to spot.
ОтветитьCool.
Ответитьwar nickel is the absolute best way to stack silver
ОтветитьI have three of the 11 coin complete wartime sets. It’s the only thing I buy with the nickels ,if I find them for good price
ОтветитьI would think their low silver content would make them more of a barter and trade denomination in shft situation
In my mind
As mentioned in the silver dragon video, war nickels are great for weighing down a safe as opposed to using other types of weights
ОтветитьSo $1 face of silver war nickels = 1.12oz of silver....$9 face comes out to 10.08 ounces of silver. If you find them for a good price I'd say go for it. I haven't dealt with an LCS that won't buy them
ОтветитьThey are unique. It’s the only time that a nickel had no nickel. Might not be able to sell them but it’s the only time they had silver. My favorite is the 64 Kennedy Half dollars. They fresh, shiny and hardly circulated.
ОтветитьWar nickels are a great way to help bring down the dollar cost average of my stack. My LCS sells out all the time so I’m not concerned about liquidating them when the time comes. Keeping the faith that silver will, in the long term, be a good hedge against inflation, selling the War nickels at or slightly below spot price will be fine with me. They certainly aren’t as pretty as other constitutional silver, but they are indeed an interesting/ unique part of our nation’s mintage of coins. I do keep an uncirculated set of these nickels with my stack so I can be reminded of how they used to look.
Ответитьsyallom siang bos aku aku juga punya beberapa koin america munkin bos berminat balas aja di komenrat
ОтветитьI see no reason to not have them be a part of anyone's stack if you believe silver is going to go MUCH higher at some point in the future. I would not pay over melt for them, especially if you are only going to get 94% melt ( as you say you got) when selling. It wouldn't surprise me though, if there are dealers that don't even pay that much for them.
ОтветитьOther than a few BU war nickels for my collection. I have a little over two full rolls all from circulation. The Mint should make "W" nickels. Like the quarters. Hint. 👍
ОтветитьI think the silver value/face value is relevant when you have a limited budget to buy coin rolls to search, although this would be assuming all denominations of silver coins are equally likely to be found.
ОтветитьWell done!! In addition to being difficult to sell, these nickels grab on to dirt like nothing else.
Ответить40% halves and war nickels I get passively through change or CRH
ОтветитьI have a lot of them
Ответить👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьI once bought a whole roll of war nickels thinking I could complete the date/mint run in one shot…turns out they’re all 1944-P.
ОтветитьGood insights into a coin that is often overlooked!
Ответить~~WAVES~~ AWESOME, GIT THEM, THANK YOU CHRISTAIN!!! BILL/SURFER
ОтветитьI have some 1941to 1952 nickels i need sale it's please tell me good bayer number and address
ОтветитьI enjoy your videos.
ОтветитьI’d say it’s cool to passively collect, I keep them when I come across them, but I’m not “stacking” them by any means
ОтветитьStill occasionally found in circulation, though not often. As of today, the melt value is $1.27, just a bit less than a silver dime.
ОтветитьOnly good to search for varieties.
ОтветитьThe wartime nickels go great with the V75 quarters. Thank you Christian EIEI OH MY! 👌👍🇺🇸🏴☠️
ОтветитьI have 4 full sets of War Nickels. It's something that I enjoy to collect. Not for everyone, but for me.
ОтветитьI definitely keep all the War Nickels I come across in change or hunting coin rolls for my coin collection, but definitely don’t count them towards my Silver stack
ОтветитьWAR NICKELS ARE THE BEST WITNESS OF THE WORLD WAR II.THANKS APPRECIATE CHRISTIAN AND TREASURE TOWN COINS .😊👍❤🌿🇺🇲🗽🌿🇺🇲
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьI have a few but I dont stack em. Just not worth the hassle unless you're into trying to get top pop grades on them but stacking them just isn't worth it to me.
ОтветитьChristian thanks for the video.
ОтветитьWho makes that coin folder? Thanks..
ОтветитьWatching going through a box of nickel have 2 war nickel so far 28$ left in the Box

ОтветитьA 40% Kennedy is .1478 silver.
A 90% quarter is .1808 silver content.
A War nickel is 35% silver so lower content.
