ОтветитьToday was Upper Back/Spine and Hips (which most often also includes abs) Day and as always breathing. Today is the end of my first week. I have participated with and completed 6/7 days with several using 2 videos/per day. When I first started, I was ashamed that after being very athletic and active most of my life as well as much more intensive the first 25-years of my life (ballet, tap, jazz, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and so on…). However, I just listened to your words that these “beginner” pilates does not mean easy. And I appreciated the fact that you shared some of your personal history re: recent Sx 5 months ago (from the time of video) and that you had been starting back with beginner pilates/stretches to guide yourself safely and comfortably back into the swing of things. After one week (6/7 days and more than 9 classes), I can unequivocally state that these Beginner videos are substantial, worthwhile, and rewarding. I am delighted that I feel stretched, longer, stronger, and still excited to do the next day. I do sip on a giant glass of ~ 16oz (or more) of water with a full scoop of C4 while working out and this has never failed to quell most of post-day workout soreness. I, often, drink my pea protein/Vital proteins (with other vit’s/supp’s/NZ’s) 1/2 banana, + ~ 12oz. water and 1/2 separate muscle milk) about 1 hour before my work out (these pilates + stretches and running, dancing, zumba, elliptical, cross-training, swimming, and so on, and so forth). Your classes are so good that even my fiancé, Tommy, did a couple with me before his work out, too. Thanks Jessica for the expert guidance, advice, and the inspiration.
ОтветитьI've been going to the gym a lot these past few months and every single time I go, I play at least one of your videos to help me. Your pilates videos for abs have been a godsend, as I have very damaged abdominal due to a childhood open heart surgery.
I have an incredible workout everytime I do your stretches. They just feel right, unlike a lot of social media led stretches and exercises. My body just feels very comfortable to be in and workout in once I do your stretches

ОтветитьWith all the videos out there it's very good to know that I can always count on your videos to be not only very instructional but show that you are a humble person. Sometimes I feel these videos are more about the look and physique of the instructor than it is about actually teaching. Keep it up I love your videos and they have helped me immensely.
