“I’ll pick those up later…no I probably won’t.” 😂😂😂. Sounds just like me, I honestly wouldn’t make it back there to pick them up and declare they are good compost in place. 😂

I'm so envious that you get to grow things in the winter. Not possible where I live, so it's justI another reason I enjoy your videos.

This is a gardening style I can get behind. Over sow and self seeding.

Question for you…do you use sphagnum moss in your garden beds/compost? I used to grow bonsai trees and it's used in some cases because the chemicals in it aid with root growing, which I'd imagine would yield more crops. Just curious if you've tried it or not. Love your videos. This spring I'm starting my garden!

Hey Mark, could you please show us what you've got in your garden at the moment and when you'll be back in full swing? I'm in far north Queensland and had never grown through our hot and humid summer as everyone told me it wasn't possible but this year we've had good success with sweet potato, corn, tomato, kale and some carrot

no wonder you can grow anything in that climate. Where i live it regularly gets between -20C in winter and +30C in summer.

If the politics were different there, not that it's any better here, I would totally offer to come be a garden assistant at your place in exchange for living in a shed and meals. I could work year round and die a happy girl.

I live in Maine. It's still November and my carrots are frozen into the ground already. I will get out there and dig them all up as soon as I can. I luckily have lots of heirloom bean and pea seeds drying. It rained a lot and was really cool this year. I have an indoor grow room with lights. I'm growing 2 cannabis plants, onions, 3 potato varieties, and am overwintering 4 green bell pepper plants. I have physical struggles and straight up did the best I can this year. I still am trying. I wish I could garden outside all year, I really do, but at least I get practice in alternative growing. Growing indoors is different.

All the guides where I'm from (Newfoundland) say not to plant zucchini or squash until mid-June, and definitely not to to start indoors and transplant them. I was planting pretty willy nilly in early May and started all my zucchs and squash and pumpkin indoors. All are transplants and all are now quite large and have flowers, and seem happy in their grow bags. My four zuchinnis are already producing fruit, two of them have two to three zuchinni a few inches long. Seem totally fine.
