For people who want a floor on their wall.

If you cut a piece of balsa wood the exact measurement of the wall..you can lay the wood on the floor and add the panels with a stronger adhesive...even E6000. Once it is covered, tiled mosaic, or even a custom art piece...you can screw each corner in like a faux wall. It also allows you to replace the wall with a different style, different tile when you want change. 🏆.


It won't matter how humid it is. It's there until you unscrew it off the wall. You just need the right screws and achors for wall type.🏆.


Also portable...to move around the house to other walls/focal points or take with you when you move.

Our backsplash was installed with that. 4 years later, still going strong!

I put that in my kitchen it’s great!

It works as an extra waterproofing in the bathroom. We use it professionally when we go out to patch up an emergency leakage in the bathroom shower.

Honestly, that mat is actually good stuff but it's a lot more expensive than mastic (acrylic tile adhesive paste; kind of like drywall mud)

Why not just install it properly instead of using double sided adhesive and being concerned about it staying on?

I don't understand pebble tile. Something about it creeps me out. Must be the bumpy texture.

But your grout is what's holding everything together even if your "double sided tape" fails... that grout is stuck to that wall from top to bottom.... I wouldn't really worry about it until someone crashes into that wall.. 🤷‍♂️
