She was the most legendary woman in the world, I can’t imagine what it feels like to get betrayed by her own people and the country she loved and cared about. May her soul rest in peace

ОтветитьYou forgot to mention what happened after her capture, but before she was exchanged to the English for trial.
She was imprisoned, and attempted escape twice. The second time, imprisoned in a tower, Joan lept from a window, and plummeted 70 feet into a dry moat. Miraculously, she not only survived, but suffered only minor injuries. Unfortunately, she was soon recaptured.
I assume it went something like:
Joan: "Well, I don't see how this could go wrong. If I die, c'est la vie. If I survive, I'm gettin outta here faster than you can say "Frere Jacques"!"
Jumps. "Á plus tard, SUCKEERRRRrrrrrrrss!!!"
Hits the ground, makes a billow of dust Curls up like Peter Griffin with a hurt knee.
inhales OWWWWWW inhales OWWWWWW inhales OWWWWWW inhales OWWWWWW...
the guards, surrounding her "ARRÊTER! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RESIST!"
Joan: ¡Sacré Bleu! Kaputski!
“Charles said that Joan was free of all charges”
Yah bit late for that Charlie don’t you think

Ответить"Dressing like a man" in her case just means wearing the soldiers' outfit that they gave her, and which she said she continued to wear in prison because, according to several eyewitnesses, she was using the cords attached to this clothing to tie the various parts of the outfit together so her guards couldn't pull her clothing off.
Mysticism was not heretical: there were large numbers of medieval mystics who often were asked for advice by the clergy themselves, such as St. Catherine of Siena for example. English government records state bluntly that they chose the judge and other court members (who supported their cause), and many of these guys later admitted that the whole thing was orchestrated by the English government using deliberately false or misleading charges.
Joan didn't fight or directly command: during the fourth session of her trial (27 February 1431) she said “during assaults I carried the banner, so as to stay out of any killing; and I have never killed anyone.” Charles VII's records show the full command structure.
You forgot to mention on how went Captain America when she led a thousand heroic spirits into battle against King Solomon's 72 demons just to help a Shield Girl and her senpai 😅
