Robert that was awesome the game placed Tolui & Jochi in 1212 again the guards he made are Kheshig translated into English as Blessed then split in 2 Khevtul and Torgrud translated again in English as Night Guard & Day Guard Genghis ruled from 1206 after Hoelun passed away (but remembered as lady chronicler and mother) until 1227 Ogedai then ruled as King from 1229 until he died in 1241 after Wars of Legnica and Sajo River southeast of Mohi, Hungary it took 10 years since Queen Toregene took over until 1251 when Mengge took the title of King ruled from 1251 until his death in 1259 (sidenote what he did was for China himself and the son Kublai who converted to Buddhism in 1242) he ruled from Karakorum now Karakoran in Ovorkhangai Province, Mongolia until it was emptied later the near east and Caucasian mountains went to the other King Hulugu who then attacked west sacking first Assassins in Iran before heading to Baghdad, Iraq beginning Siege of Baghdad, Iraq (sidenote 2 Abbasid Empire was founded in 750's after rebelling on Ummayads then ruled for years until 1242 when it's leader Mustasir Mustasim Al Billah took the throne there as it's capital since it was Golden Age of Islam) at the end of this Global Carpet Ride of Heck Worst Global Carpet Ride was done which angered Berke declaring a holy war against the pesky brother later on to do this Hulugu and Crusaders marched into Damascus, Syria then capital of Ayyubid Empire during the German Ayyubid War Frederick 1 Redbeard posthumously together with Liberator of Teutoburg launched the attack to remove the son of Saladin who crushed them at War of Hattin the result instant victory for me in game in real life though Yusuf then Emperor of Ayyubid got captured which caused Mamluks to overthrow them making a new empire called Mamluk Empire in 1260 Great Panther and Crusaders teamed up on the Mongols attacked at War of Ain Jalut which not only cut off Hulugu but Noyan Ketbuka was captured then decapitated this went on and on until 1370 and beyond please reply this lengthy comment?

The Mongols could easily be a subgenre of horror as well as history. One of the most evil empires in history.

Your videos are very educational and engaging to listen. Could you do a video about African stories? Like the myth of Anansi, the spider god? Or the history of Mansa Kankan Musa or Hannibal?

A nice way to learn some history, albeit I am asleep halfway through. I can rewind and listen. The connections between today's China and ancient Mongolia are interesting. I would like to know more about the Tatars. There is much interest lately in "Tartaria", or Tataria. There is evidence of their having technology, and superb architecture, which is now missing or hidden.

Genghis khan is more of a natural disaster than a person. The total death count of the Mongol conquests are estimated to be about 40 million people. While this seems comparable to WW2, this represented a much bigger proportion of the global population of the time and was thus proportionately more deadly. So many people died that global carbon levels dropped and global forests recovered.
Temujin is a serious contender for the worst person who ever lived.
