Sometimes we just need to give up gear and either go for smaller and lighter, or just do without! I need to do the same too.

Guys, you don't really need a new camera. Focus on telling stories properly instead of dumping more money on useless gear. Unless you're getting more money from investing in a new camera, you clearly don't need to swap cameras every 2 years.

Totally agree with you! So many bad design decisions. I love BM and want a cube camera from them but this ain’t it

Nice video! As an owner of a few A7Siii's, I was interested in the FX3 too. Instead, I went with the FX30 with the audio handle and use handle on my A7Siii. Small Rig has a cage and plate that secures the handle on the A7Siii. It's an option and personally, I am very pleased with it.

Came here for the tips. Ended up looking down your shirt the whole time. Still picked up some tips though.

I do miss the weekly vlogs y'all among a few others actually inspired me to make a vlog or two even if I don't post them anywhere I like it just so I have a small video to look at when I'm old lol

Love the lighting in this video, and the ball head on the tripod is enough to jave me looking for the link. a7c has kinda been on the radar for me since you first posted about it a while ago, I shoot an old a7 and an adapted lens mule but it really isn't a great or at least inspiring camera for video, and the a7s3 is a bit out of reach given it's not the business I am in, so it would be more of a selfish toy. I like the idea of letting stuff go, I have a Tone of film cameras that I have loved for a very long time but I feel like the time is ripe to let them find new life in other people's journey. I enjoy these transition videos when people upgrade or change their gear, it's not so much about the new gear or the purging of old , as it is the exciting promise of new beginnings and the sence of motivation I know I get when I feel more organized and less cluttered, and most deffinitly inspired to use new tools. Well sometimes old tools too, when they are new to me.

Let us know what you think of the Nanlite pavo slim. Thinking about them for product and head shots. Would you ever upgrade to the Sony a7rv? Have never found a camera bag I really like. Thanks for the video.
