My aunt has a 2004 highlander she’s had it some brand new has 300,000 on it now only had to do brakes and persisting pump and that’s all
ОтветитьIt was years before any of these vehicles were built that the domestic automakers were saying yes, we used to have some problems but our latest vehicles are as good or better than any other vehicle available, even from Japan! Obviously, that wasn’t true.
ОтветитьAdd the Ford explorer with the 3.5 liter water pump inside the engine.
ОтветитьWhy the unnecessary apostrophe? It’s just a plural word.
ОтветитьHi body, I watch all your videos and I didn't see that you mentioned the mercury mariner 2008. I that a good car?
ОтветитьCAR WIZARD - The plural of "crossover" is "crossovers". 🙄
ОтветитьAt this point I just tell people to stay away from pretty much ANY so called "American" car, the "big 3" have become so cheap that I put them with Mitsubishi and Nissan as garbage cars/SUVs/trucks.
ОтветитьSo who put the apostrophe in “crossovers”? Or, if it is intended to be there: where has the rest of the sentence gone??
ОтветитьMy mother had a 4 cyl equinox, trans went at 115k, by then it was already on its 3rd motor under warranty. What a piece of shit it was
ОтветитьThe 2002 Saturn Vue should be added to the list due to electrical problems and bcm module failure. It's also hard to get parts for because they don't make them anymore. I also had to put engine work in it just to keep it running. New timing belt, water pump, carrier bearing for driveshaft, serpentine belt and also having electric short repaired in dash totalling $1600.00 in repairs. I'm still waiting on a used bcm module at a junkyard for 200.00 plus labor. I paid to much for it to get rid of it so I'm stuck with it.
ОтветитьI purchased a NEW 1995 Chrysler mini-van. Had a 3yr-30K warranty. The transmission started slipping at 37K miles. Traded it in for a new Hyundai. 10 yr-100k warranty. No problem with my Elantra that I purchased a Santa Fe, Accord and a Genasis. I gave my old Hyundai Cars to my children. Except for the 2005 Elantra (MVA), they are still on the road. I will NEVER buy another American vehicle again.
ОтветитьGM is Junk - Check
Chrysler is Junk - Check
Dodge is Junk - Check
Nissan is Junk - Check
Jeep is junk - Check
Had a Matrix. Had engine issues because the spark plugs were put in incorrectly by the factory. Catastrophic engine failure. Toyota would not cover it.
ОтветитьMost of the cars if properly maintained from new they will last. They have a low tolerance to abuse and maintenance avoidance.
ОтветитьI bought a used 2013 Matrix 3+ years ago and it is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned.
ОтветитьCar wizard i have a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer ES and it is a reliable and stylish car that i got a great deal on for $3k at 115k miles. Great maintenance history and ive kept that up doing fluid changes and what not whenever it is needed. I have had the car for a little over a year and it has been a great car for the value i bought it for. My previous car was a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage LS which was also a reliable car which I drove for over 5 years until I sold it for my lancer. Mitsubishis are relatively solid vehicles and I wish more people bought them. Then maybe we'd still have an EVO and Eclipse...
ОтветитьI just discovered this guy’s channel and I love it…as do other mechanics, based on the comments.
Those Buick Encores take a verbal beating from him. … that and the triton v8.
in another video you pointed out the dodge journey with 2.4 l engine ... they'd be okay, you said - you still down with that? (coming from a guy owning one, 222k - and I like to keep and maintain it)
Ответитьmy wife had 20 dodge journeys a 2011 4 cylinder and a 2014 r/t awd 6 cylinder never any issues at all but we do maintain are cars
ОтветитьSome things never change. If you want a crossover to almost last forever get a Toyota or a Honda, If you want a car that will belong in the junk-yard after 5 years get one of the other brands.
