Hey Fireship, could you create a video explaining how you learn and study software and framework documentation in general? Instead of giving me the fish, I'd like to learn how to fish.
Ответить3 minutes in I’m absolutely lost, and have no idea what you’re talking about. ! 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьIt is bad tutorial for beginners. Author just runs through tutorial, stopping at nothing. I'm looking for "hello world" to get my feet wet and he goes through entire course like it would be a refresher. This is a bad tutorial, because it is presented like a refresher course.
ОтветитьSo easy to comprehend , thanks !!
ОтветитьI just want to build an app for my Tizen operated Samsung tv, from a dockerfile I already have. I am lost. 🤷♂️
ОтветитьI feel like there's an entire world of knowledge I must have before I even show up here.
ОтветитьOne I need to reference later. Or earlier, actually. I'm a CSCI undergrad, and this is the kind of knowledge that should've been included somewhere in my degree program.
ОтветитьThis was absolutely amazing
ОтветитьDocker pssssss
ОтветитьI died on "docker ps" 💀💀💀
ОтветитьGood Video: Roast + Learning
Ответить1. thing to know is: Microsoft OS can not run containers. Mickey Mouse winblows runs Linux in a a virtual machine to run the container inside Linux. Tons of overhead and completely defeats the whole point of containers, which is not having to run full bloated VM.
ОтветитьPls add deesser do ur audio processing chain. Thats embarassing
ОтветитьBut if my local machine is not running linux, and I am not running my local application inside a container, so in that case my app can break in the container
ОтветитьNeo: Whoa. I know Docker.
ОтветитьWhere does the docker image that is built get saved? I would assume the working dir but I didn’t see it.
ОтветитьCan you explain your study process when new technology comes out?
ОтветитьWhy is ununtu 18+? 😛
ОтветитьWhat program do you use to type out these commands?
ОтветитьThis is heresy!. This will destroy the "...but it works on my laptop" excuse!
...the horror!
"Run on any hardware" in theory
ОтветитьAm I the only one that had to watch at 0.75x speed?...
ОтветитьSo if a docker image was created (and I assume works from the creators computer) then it must have all the dependencies preinstalled in the docker container?
ОтветитьAmazingly concise. You deserve an award for the amount of information conveyed in 11 minutes.
ОтветитьThe first video ever i don't have to speed up <3
ОтветитьThank you. Also got to know you a bit more in your documentary on Honeypot :)
ОтветитьLife saver
Ответитьdocker pshhhh
ОтветитьAny chance you could redo this video with out the music? This is unwatchable but I need a good tutorial to share with friends when they ask what docker is.
ОтветитьI was looking at linkedin learning courses and didnt understand why i was doing the stuff they were telling me to do.. this is much more understandable
ОтветитьDocker image is like a lightweight, cloud version of a compact disc we used 20 years ago.
ОтветитьYou didn't mention package.json. What's it there for?
ОтветитьThis video was fire.
ОтветитьTips: Start watching FireShip video in 0.8x, It turns into a full blown udemy course.
ОтветитьDude, you're a legend, thanks.
ОтветитьAaah, so thats what fireship used to do
ОтветитьAaah, so thats what fireship used to do
ОтветитьI'm just not convinced about docker
Like I get it, handling dependencies sucks sometimes but is the solution really running an entire virtual machine? It seems overly complicated.
I would love to have my mind changed on this
Need a Docker tutorial for Windows users (not developers) who want to install a random app on the Internet and have no idea what to do because the dev assumes you know Docker and python inside out already.
ОтветитьBro, the intro described my life more than any other meme has ever done.
ОтветитьWAY to fast. (like drinking from firehose) this gave a lot of information which would quickly overrun anyone new to Docker. After 5 mins..it was just a blur.
Ответитьi'll need to try it out, but you managed to make the concept much clearer in just 10minutes compared to the countless 2h docker beginner tutorials. great video
ОтветитьVery confusing and definitely not beginner level. Also .... Linux??
But still helpfull. I was able to keep up for the most point. This isnt a topic you can only do a 7 min video on tho
Finding such a to the point summary is very rare! I like your memes too! 😁
