Farscape deserves way more respect on this list. It had some of the most impressive character development, unique storylines, and cliche-defying writing in television, along with awesome world building and chemistry among the cast. My favorite show and just as good as B5. Those would be my top two picks.

whenever you say a show is great because it infuses major themes about politics it doesn't make the show that appealing....

Star Trek The Next Generation should've been on this list. Very Disappointed Kirk is loved by this list, but not Picard.

I'll have an earl grey tea, HOT. Hot as my face from how angry i am STTNG is not on this list.

Watch Mojo truly has hit a new low, and here I thought their new content was bad, even if you can even call top ten lists content(they're not).

Guys it's clearly in order of number of fanboys. Watchmojo rates things in order to get the most likes in its videos. Of course Farscape and Firefly deserve to be much higher but Battlestar Galactica has far more fanboys. I liked the new series of BG (apart from the constant shakey-camera and silly ending) but it can't really compare with the originality of Farscape or Firefly's script. And of course Star Trek has more fanboys than all the others combined. For its time, Star Trek was world-changing, it spawned the space-opera genre and it's still brilliant. But revolutionary doesn't mean that it hasn't been surpassed and it's not 1969 anymore, better things have come out since.

Sorry, but "The Expanse" - especially now that season 3 has just finished up, is undoubtedly the greatest sci-fi series of all time! As revolutionary as "Star-Trek TOS" was, it doesn't remotely compare when it comes to the acting and writing - not to mention it's ridiculously dated to say the least. That's why i wouldn't even have it at number two, that spot goes to "Battlestar-Galactica", (the sci-fi channel series). So yeah, Trek's number 3, "Dark Matter" is 4th, "Deep Space 9" is 5th, "Farscape" is 6th, "Babylon-5" is 7th, "Firefly" is 8th, "Stargate-Atlantis" is 9th, and finally - "Gene Roddenberry's: Andromeda" is 10th, SG-1 was just so hokey and cringe-worthy that overshadowed all the good aspects of the show for it to be in the top ten. Unlike shows like "Dark Matter", "Farscape," "Andromeda," and "SG-Atlantis" that didn't have as much hokey dialogue or had plenty of great aspects that far surpassed the cringe-worthy aspects to these series. and as for Doctor Who, yeah that is more of a kids show and is for me, entirely unwatchable.
