Are you taking on any levelling of slabs on the 4848? I believe that sort of business is more on demand in the US in comparence to EU.
ОтветитьCan carbide create be used with the avid? Do you have to use Mach4?
ОтветитьThis is so fast!
ОтветитьPretty sure that would push my neighbors over the edge
ОтветитьHallo lieber Freund, ich mag deine Videos sehr. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn du dir einige meiner Videos ansehen könntest, vielen Dank! Ich warte auf eine Meinung und ein Like!
ОтветитьI know what you mean about the build project being quite an undertaking. I commented before on other videos about me having a Bobs CNC. It’s a 4’x4’ bed also. I put mine together on my own and it took me 5 days working on it 4-7 hours per day to get it finished. I had to wire the control box, press bearings into the rollers, all kinds of fun stuff along with close to 300nuts and bolts. 🫣😳 This may not mean much to you guys but I’m a stay at home mom who has never done anything like that before, so it was such a big deal to me when I got it to move and it all worked right!! 😂😂
From what I’ve seen of this machine…. I might just know what my upgrade will eventually be. 🤔😂👍 I’m looking forward to seeing the products that come off of this beast.
You'll be leaving us mere mortals with NEMA 17 & NEMA 23 in your dust as we cut 1mm pr pass with our 300w spindles !! Will you start cutting 1/4" per pass or 6mm?
ОтветитьThis was a great overview of the assembly process. Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьAwesome,,, nice informative insight to the Avid,,, I have the shapeoko XXL as well,,, looking to upgrade.
Ответитьwhat program did you end up going with for the Avid ? or what do you use ?
ОтветитьDude, that is awesome!! I'm excited to see how this new machine will help your business grow and the things you can create with it. Looking forward to seeing the spoilboard/DC video next! - Joe
ОтветитьHow long did it take you to receive the packages???
ОтветитьSo I’m looking at the shapeoko pro, the Avid is almost twice the cost. If cost isn’t considered, would you consider the shapeoko still a better buy for a beginner? Or jump all in with the Avid? 🤷♂️
ОтветитьI would still recommend actually tramming it with something like the Edge Technologies gauge. It gives you two dial indicators and a 6" span, it will be much more accurate. Get the spoilboard down first, and then use a piece of glass to measure the tram error. After that's done you can surface the spoilboard. No need to make test cuts.
ОтветитьLooks like it's coming along great, Andy. Thanks for sharing your progress.
ОтветитьLooks great, bet your pumped to have it!
ОтветитьFedEx driver went on vacation after that 26 box drop off 😂
ОтветитьVery nice and good job! I've read a few times they have great instructions on putting them together. I will find out in the next year or two. :)
ОтветитьAwesome work! Excited to see the improvements you make. Super cool that you've got an Avid!!
ОтветитьVideo starts Instant like for awesome content. Excited to see how much of an improvement this will make for your business.
Ответить4HP spindle! Wow talk about an upgrade. Does your model have the ability to change spindles by itself?
