I would die then act like a fake optimist with their stupid questions. If they really want to assess english, whats true would be experiment with the topics the candidates like, not one the interviewer can pick out of the blue?

This is the first time I watched an IELTS video with full concentration without being bored even a single second. This girl is really attractive in terms of her most natural conversation and fluency. I loved her grace and how confident she was! I always used to think that these exams should be very formal,but actually It's all about how 'natural' you are. And yes lastly,the examiner is such a great and understanding person!
The girl surely deserves a band 9.

She spoke very good, clear and understood also cohesivenesses is perfect.
I wondered that is it real or mock exam.
One of the reason what she got band 9 is :The examiner told her that she is open, friendly and relax which helped her to get 9.

The vocabularies which she used definitely not band 9 , am surprised.
I am sorry to bother female but I wondered that if a candidate was male, what score he had it.
Research showed most of the time , A friendly, open and beautiful girls or women have higher mark usually.
But I liked this test.

is it okay to take breaks in speaking test, i think it may effect on grading ( i don't know clearly but can anyone tell me about this )

Always try to add idioms or phrases or popular things to appear as a natural & usual english speaker.
For e.g
Do you take pictures of self?
No, I don't incline towards the "O mirror, mirror on the wall, who is most beautiful of all" but I do have some sunset/ over the ponds fishing selfies.
2) Do you love animals, what type? I do fantasise with Fawkes in Harry Potter or augurey in stranger things, but I like dogs and wish to keep an Owl too.
- If you begin like this, the Linguistic society will itself sponsor you, let alone the Band 10.

This is the first close to reality speaking that I’ve heard so far.

Hello Chris, today I gave my ielts speaking test. I was asked about advice giving in second part. I told about the advice i gave my brother not to join my university. I said my university was slow and they would do things haphazardly. Sometimes they would spontaneously do a lot of things. Other times they would not do a single thing in a whole year. I am a victim from this and i was frustrated. So, you better not join the university i joined. Will i be penalized for criticizing ?

did she use complex sentences or just she used unknown words for us and we thought she is more clever 😅

I just got my IELTS result and I found out that I got an 8 in speaking test. So my advices would be:
1. Don't freak out. Just calm down because u got this.
2. Don't jam up your head with tons of informations and tips because they will be of no use. Just learn some important tips
3. Don't try to be something else because u can't hold up to that for a long period of time.

From my personal experience: I didn't use very fancy words or phrases. Often times my answers were really short (which I wouldn't recommend) but it's okay. Most students freak out for the 2 min conversation. I just remember talking without actually making sm sense and I even skipped one question because I forgot ab it. So it's very normal if u can't complete that 2 min. Don't stress.

she used simple vocab like words we use in normal daily life. she didn't use any complex words. would you suggest using daily life words? Last time when I was practicing two years ago I was suggested to learn some different vocab then we use in our daily lives.
