Hi Buddy, I've just got myself the Pixel 8 Pro, and I was doubtful at first as I've never used a Google phone before, but the more times I'm using it, I can't put it down......Anyway thanks for the latest video, and some great tips, but I have one question and this one is really bugging me, on the top left corner of the screen you get the time and weather or temperature, is there any way of disabling this to take it off the screen, as I find it quite annoying. .....Cheers Buddy...Grahame

Can you change the navigation buttons locations on pixel 8 pro

I see someone wrote they couldn't get wifi calling, this is a deal breaker for me as I don't get 5G inside my house.

That analog clock ticking along on the home screen is very distracting, I miss what icon you're pressing because my eye is drawn to that movement of the clock.

This is a very helpful and well done video. However I feel I need to inform you viewers that while you can increase the screen resolution, this WILL increase battery usage. I have the Pixel 8 Pro and I have noticed a considerable difference in battery usage between these two setting. I have since reverted my phone back to the "recommended by Google" setting of "high" (1008 X 2244). I'm finishing the day with much more battery than I did with "full" resolution (1344X2992).

Is there a way to map a double tap to the power button to "ON/OFF torch"? I've been using it for years on all my other devices, I can't believe this is not something that Pixel devices offers. I don't want to fiddle with a small icon on a lockscreen, I need a physical button. I read the Quick Tap offers an action to engage the LED light. Does this work reliable, even with a case around the Pixel?
