Finally I get the loop stitch! You’re the first person who has explained that you start with one strand and thread both ends through needle to make a loop! I’m a very visual learner, so your video was perfect!
Also the diagram of the cross stitch, and where you put your needle for the pin stitch. Brilliant, Thanks so much!
THANK YOU
ОтветитьThat was very straightforward and helpful, thank you 😊
ОтветитьThank you I will use the first method
ОтветитьThank you so much ❤
ОтветитьAs a newbie to cross-stitch, this was really helpful! I've only been using the catch-the-tail method to start and the weaving method to end a section, but these aren't always the best methods to use in some cases. I'll give these other methods a try!
ОтветитьSuper helpful for me. Thank you! I’m
ОтветитьThank you for showing me how to cross stitch I am a beginner
ОтветитьI have two (2) counted cross stitch kits and do I count the squares and where do I begin?
Ответить23rd
ОтветитьThank you 😊
ОтветитьHi, video good but to me that’s too much thread pulled through then cutting. But that’s just me.😊
ОтветитьIm noting your aida is soft so Im assuming that you've washed it, as its usually too stiff for in hand sewing.
ОтветитьVery good thank you!!!
ОтветитьОтгоре,отдолу,отгоре,отдолу......много бавно става всичко......така ще шия един гоблен две години..... нямам време за губене.....
ОтветитьI am just learning counted cross stitching. I just finished my first, literally a "My First Cross Stitch" pattern by Buscilla and I wish I'd know how to pin stitch! It was a mermaid and had a couple of one cross stich accents around the mermaid that I was wondering how to start and stop. Of course I just stretched over there and back from the nearest grouping, and you can definitely see a bit of the thread color coming through on the front. Glad to know there is a better option when I move on to more important works!
ОтветитьThank you for this, very useful.

ОтветитьWonderful! Thank you!
ОтветитьGreat instructions. Thank you.
ОтветитьI’m understanding the stitching. I’m stuck because in all the videos I watch they start in the center. The cross stitch kit I have doesn’t start in the middle. How do you know where to start?
ОтветитьJust fabulous! Thanks so much, cheers 😊❤️💕🥰😘
ОтветитьAmazing. Now i can keep back of my cross stitch neat

ОтветитьPin stitch is going to change my life!! I have such a hard time with trailing tails because the patterns I love the most have a lot of single stitches in one color
ОтветитьThank you for putting that little diagram of the pin stitch! I kept watching videos of people doing it, but it just looked like they were moving the needle up and down in the same place over and over. This was very helpful!
Ответитьthanks :-)
ОтветитьThis video is a favorite of mine. I've learned a lot from your descriptions. I specifically came here to find out how to do one single stitch starting and ending with a pin stitch. I wasn't sure how to exactly do the second pin stitch but thanks to you, I've got it. Thank you!
Ответитьthe isolated pin stitch blew my mind. it's gonna be so helpful. thanks!
ОтветитьThank you! You demonstrated how to use the pin stitch with an isolated stitch, which is something I’ve wanted to know.
ОтветитьThis was very informative! Thank you for your help ☺
ОтветитьVery good demo. Thanks. Loved the pin sitch tutorial.
ОтветитьThanks. Very helpful for me.
ОтветитьAn excellent video. Thank you.
ОтветитьWatching this video in 2020, great tips. Thanks.
Ответитьthank you, this was really helpful!!
ОтветитьReally helpful, thank you !
ОтветитьAwesome!!! Exactly what I was looking for. 👍🏻
ОтветитьYes I like to cross stitch.
Should your pattern be stitch one row at a time from lest to right or can you sitch a group of same color? Let's say 3 rows, red, 5 stitches on top, 10 stitches in middle and 7 stitches on third row before moving on to next group of color.
Lovely video. Really well made. Thanks!
ОтветитьI've been doing it wrong then. Haha. Thank you. It's my first cross stitch project due to this quarantine. I've had little bumps because I've been tying it behind. Oh well. I'm just going to do more projects with this one and I'm not done yet. I can always do this now.
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks for posting. I am just learning and have a question. I left some tails on the back that aren't secured (my first project), how can I fix this after completion?
ОтветитьThank you for that. I am flosstube too. Nice too meet you.
ОтветитьCan I watch cross stitch without explanation. Irritating
ОтветитьThis was so extremely helpful! Very well done - thank you!
ОтветитьWhy not start loop method at back, thru to front, cross, and then put needle thru loop at back? No need to pull any knot thru.
ОтветитьVery clear instruction. Thank you.
ОтветитьThis was very helpful!! But I would love some of the stitches to be slowed down.. I can't understand pin stitch, its too quick to see :(
