I have a direct relation who was a real sharp at exactly the same time and is remembered and celebrated by his regiment to this day. . History is better than fiction my friends .

I remember watching this in march/April 1993 when it was first broadcasted. It was shown on ITV 1 channel at 7 pm. British channel.

My husband and I love this show. Especially when he found out he had family on every side of every army. Is family in the French army German army. English army. Spanish army. Portuguese. And in american. That was some family history.
