Two of the best, with great conversation.

I’ve been following Chris for years and always thought that he would be great on mainstream TV so I was pleased to hear he was on TG.

Given his talent and experience, I found it heartbreaking to hear about the abuse he received. Genuinely shocked and saddened.

Of course no one should have abuse thrown at them like that but he was, and is, the main reason why so many watch Top Gear and his knowledge, skill, experience and talent is clear to see.

Jonny - yet another brilliant episode. They have always been good but the latest ones have been some of the most interesting shows I’ve watched on any screen. Thank you.

Chris - should you ever read this, thank you so much for continuing to do what you are so good at. You are one of the best in the industry and long may it continue.

Real shame about the abuse, Chris made topgear work even with all the different characters. He was the only reason i watched it - personally think he should have his own show on BBC. For true petrol heads there is no one better - not forgetting Jonny as a co-host both are brilliant.

Love Chris on all the things he does. I think it’s despicable how people have treated him.

Holy crap I just saw this. Jonny I just ran into you at Goodwood festival of speed on the Friday when you were yelling at Ben Collins don’t smile don’t smile. You guys crack me up. I love you now and I loved you on fifth gear. Chris Harris I loved him Before and during Top Gear. I was also there in attendance March 2018 at a filming. I flew over from America drove straight to the filming at Dunsfold and Chris and Matt LeBlanc were the epitome of professionalism and it was a long day. Car guys got to stick with car guys regardless.

OMG Chris Harris really opened up there! Why should someone get abuse because he is not perceived as good as prior presenters!! Well done mate!

Brilliant conversation. Full admiration for someone so much in the public eye to keep so private. TG is still great. That special magic of 'those 3' is incomparable, but TG with the now 3 is still kicking and ticking and long may it last!

Love Chris for his unending passion of old, small Peugeots. I adore them too, but rarely are they championed as much as when the monkeyman waxes lyrical!

Chris just my 2 cents, I’ve loved your personal channels and still do, to be honest, i sometimes get the feeling that you’re held back on Top Gear, still watching it though, but honestly I only watch TG when you’re in it😬😬

Interesting watching this in 2023 - I wonder what Chris would say about creating a TG that is actually, in it's own way, every bit as good as old TG. He's done remarkably well. Top fellow.

He has fantastic knowledge about cars. And as a French car enthusiast it warms my heart that he owns a 205 Rallye

Don't take the piss out of caravans, thay are a very good thing says the man who is the longest serving current Top Gear presenter. How times have changed.

Regarding top gear chris fits in well and is a fine presenter and it seems a genuine nice fella, however the current incarnation of top gear with that mcguinness fella is horrid he's terrible as is the ex cricketer for me chris, Eddie China and maybe Rory would be a better line up

Chris harris is a proper famous character and is filling that famous description so one day i hope to meet him ...

Clarkson has nothing on these guys. Real passion about cars and to hell with the celebrity of it all.

Given what he has said, I’m not sure that he’ll see this, but for me Chris Harris is a far better driver than any of the previous presenters of Too Gear. I also really like he reports and feedbacks on the cars that he tests or pilots. He is clearly a very talented and bloody likeable block. It is beyond me that people would send him crappy messages.

Jonny mate you are a pain in the a**e. I sit down with a cup of tea for a “quick watch” and an hours later and god knows how much of your shows watched, I think that was just brilliant. No pretentious b*****s, just decent journalism and a decent watch. Now I’m off to do something less interesting…………..

As a car journalist, having Chris Harris on your show is a great scoop. Having Chris Harris say he does the interview because of you and reveal stuff in a personal interview - and then several times through part 1 and part 2 give cred to Jonny Smith and his work as a car journalist, is amazing. It is such a generous thing for Harris to do and so good for Smith and everyone else in the industry to hear.

Loved this, Chris is such a breath of fresh air, love the way he’s ploughed his own furrow and continues to do so.

To be honest I think Chris Harris probably saved top gear ⚙️ 💯.
