Another great video Gerry...’midges are good for exercise’, my favourite quote! Beautiful camp spot with stunning 360 degree view, thanks for giving an overview of your route and the beautiful coastline to be explored! 😉
ОтветитьGreat as always Gerry, like you say, that stretch of coastline is perhaps the finest in Ireland. I love to get there each Autumn.
ОтветитьAbsolutely love the videos Gerry, inspiring stuff. I did Mweelrea via the ramp with a couple of friends the weekend before last and it was amazing. Also great to rewatch your video having seen it all with my own eyes.
ОтветитьUnreal scenery!
ОтветитьLovely. Camped at an Port before and would love to go back.
ОтветитьDid that last Sunday, one of the nicest I've done

ОтветитьOne of your very best Gerry. Thanks for sharing. Spectacular wouldn't cover it!
ОтветитьSmashin walk and a great wee pitch there Gerry! ok, so it was midgesville station but the view of that sunset and the lovely noise of moving water was just great - quare aul hike back, and grazie for providing the route map. atb Sinco
ОтветитьGreat video Gerry. Also one of my favourite costal walks in Ireland. Beautiful place.
ОтветитьMagic Gerry. Been over a lot of that ground and its one of my favourite places, all because of your first couple of videos from around there!
ОтветитьAwesome Gerry! did me good my brother watching you hike up and down that beautiful coastline, listening to the sea and streams and midges lol, cant escape the little beggars even in Ireland. Your wildcamping spot was something else I genuinely felt a connection with that place and sunset wow. Well done brother keep on smiling its infectious and much needed today.
ОтветитьI wonder if the midges know that we talk about them so much gerry. Out in good numbers then. Another fantastic explore of your beloved Ireland. Lot's of nooks, crannies and just jaw dropping cliffs and lochs. Ireland can't ever not be beautiful. Hey hope you indulged in that bonus style and bridge at the end. I trust you did. Well, good going. Great pitch and powerful scenes. Mark
ОтветитьI'm there with you Gerry! ......in spirit! This is fabulous! You are opening up an unknown world to most people. I hope somebody in the Irish Tourist board see this! Love the Napoleonic tower and the commemorative headstone to the lost sailors. This brings history alive! Superb camera work going on there too! Nature has taken its toll on that old cottage! Hope the midges were kind! lol
ОтветитьBeautiful Gerry. That coastline is just stunning!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing your adventures! Nice to follow along :)
ОтветитьI love it Gerry. I had to edit as I see now at the end of the video there is more info. great job and great location
ОтветитьYou were in one of darkest sky areas in Ireland for star gazing, astronomy and astrophotography. It has a Bortle Scale 2 and the darkest is 1 due to remoteness from light pollution. You also need a new moon phase or when the moon is below horizon. I'm not sure you are into this though. This weekend 18th September is perfect if skies are clear. Great video!
ОтветитьLike #51! This looks amazing! Another awesome upload my friend 👍 Sending my support my friend 👍 Many greetings from Bucharest, Romania!
ОтветитьAs ever Gerry looked great out. Very enjoyable time out
ОтветитьThe previous commentators used all the best words to describe this video....it was absolutely fantastic Gerry. I really don’t know why your stuff hasn’t been picked up by Failte Ireland. Please Keep producing more content like this. Simply the most beautiful place on the planet!
ОтветитьThose bloody midges are everywhere, the bane of my life, such a dramatic and moody coastline, looks like my plans are on hold again for Donegal, ahh well .Stay safe ATB
ОтветитьGreat video. really enjoyable and informative. We'd a short walk up to the signal tower and back over the hills to Glencolmcille earlier this year. Lovely area.

Ответить"....as stunnin' as anywhere in the world," you said. I totally agree. Thanks for another gem of inspiration with this journey. :)

ОтветитьGreat vid, Gerry. Nothing like getting into a clean pair of kecks after a couple of days in the hills.
Impressed with your sleeping bag & tent. They wrap up really neatly. What make are they?
Great video Gerry. Just wondering how long does it take to hike from Port to Glenlough?
