Why did you have to introduce the grandfather paradox, I already know all about it from watching the umbrella academy so why do you have to introduce it to me this paradox is only used by time travelers, technically hayato is not a time traveler since he’s only traveling back and re-one time in which he is the only version of himself so he’s not going back in time back to the future style and meeting himself and causing it a space-time continuum thing, he is being traveled back in the beginning of the loop which is kind of confusing since it is rewinding time but it’s not using time travel, unless Ciara can attach the host of bites the dust to himself then he be able to travel back in time as we start at the end of part four, What we witness at the end of part for in the anime is just Kira’s perspective of his hallucinations after he got ran over by the ambulance, dying as bd then appearing in the ghost alleyway , where he meets his fate.

why would you say traveling back in time is impossible when there are abilities that stop time, skip time, speed up time exist? I dont think our universe and the jojo universe have the same rules in regards of time and everything

I think Killer Queen's Final Ability is similar to Made in Heaven's Final Ability.

I personally don't think the previous timelines continue to exist, mostly because as far as i can tell they explode and are comepletely obliterated.

there's a similar theory to the grandfather paradox, the trouser leg theory. In the idea you can go back in time, but what you do in the past does not disrupt the flow of time. Meaning there is a record you went back, and you going back fulfills your timeline. In this case, you can return to the present. That's going through the pantleg caught in the waist, the closed loop

But going through the open pantleg, you've crossed dimensions. your actions are not preordained. You can change whatever you want...but you cannot return to your time

I believe grandfather paradox is shit because if a person travels back in time, that is travel to past, then the time from where he initially was becomes his past and his actual past becomes future. His existence can be explained as he has created a new reality by killing his grandpa and he is from a different reality.
