The only thing I wear and never take off is my gold chain. I take it off when I change it for a new one and wear it for years. Rings and watches come and go for me.
ОтветитьWon't work for me then, don't even give a shit people wear watch or not.
ОтветитьI dont wear a ring, a bracelet or a watch. When traveling i do it lite and make sure my hands are free. Mobility and comfort are my priority
ОтветитьAaaaah, well this is only half the story.
ОтветитьI didn't surprise
ОтветитьDatejust on a leather strap... please no. 😊
Ответитьvery well said
ОтветитьI wear my gmt everywhere idc i have a few color combinations so its different, a couple of submariner and a daytona for special occasions
ОтветитьMy super clone makes me feel like a politician
ОтветитьWhat about smartwatch?
ОтветитьI'm not tossing good clothes every year or two and replacing with fresh ones...they hold up perfectly well with no holes or stains. I find it wasteful to throw away good clothes...
Ответитьi only own casio f91w, it has been with me for 7+ years.
ОтветитьThanks for explaining, capitalism - watch series .😄
ОтветитьI do not want to attract friends on the basis of bling.
I control my own time, have multiple tools in my hand whenever…
And if you disrespect me, I will fight you. Fortunately I started training at 12. Been decades.
I want to meet women who see me, not my accoutrements.
I want to convey that I do not need exhibitionist tools to live the life I want.
These watches are all just stepping stones to largely unmerited and unearned prestige.
F’ing posers annoy me. I am not big on “look at me” women either.
I still get what I want out of life.
I am a self contained individual. My friends are a bonus, not a neurotic need that causes me to flex status symbols.
I lose sometimes with my attitude. But when I meet someone who gets ME, even just as a friend, while other men are still chasing that, , I like that.
I am a lifelong martial artist who will take it to the street if warranted.
I do not make myself a visible target. A Rolex is a ticket to a mugging unless you live in a very sterile world.
YMMV but I know my value & worth. And I am only interested in close friends who see me, and not my potential $ value to them.
My indifference to external symbols is off putting to some, but a beacon to those who get me.
Bring on the flames.
I know who I am, what I want, and still can find it.
And I am happy not to be in a race with a bunch of monied twits for hollow trophy women.
But make no mistake. I have had many great friendships both with and without benefits.
It is all part of being myself and playing my games, not yours.
Though other then late night boredom I don’t know why I even bother to preach to😮 nonbelievers.
It is clear that you roll differently than me.
I like my almost subterranean world. It is where most of the interesting people hang out .
In short not everyone should wear a watch or needs (another) time piece.
I live in the 21st century. I left the 1900s behind.
Other than feeling more powerful while alienating many others, all your prestigious watch says is that you have $$$ but still need help with your attractiveness to others.
I am older than you by a bit. And watchless for decades.
Before that, Seiko Submariner. Impressive for its design, value & functionality. But not a $ flex.
FWIW I have acquired a decent six figure net worth & have lived an exciting & balanced life.
For me the liabilities of an expensive watch are many. And the sole advantage you have is flexing your money.
You can have all the gold diggers you want.
Been solo again after a long marriage. I have good options but realize that quick fixes hurt in the long run
Have fun with your toys. I am having fun finding women who understand all the usual flash, but will not settle for it.
I am the other brand.
I have had relationships based on flash & ones that had real depth, and real depth is more challenging but holds up better.
To each his own.
But I don’t carry a saber either. Impressive but off putting to the knowledgeable.
Ditto a Rolex or Piaget.
Make mine an up to date digital multipurpose tool called a cell phone.
The YT algorithm apparently still isn’t sure who I am.
Expensive watches not purchased as an investment but rather as an eye catcher?
I can afford it. But I don’t need it.
YMMV but I am holding my own, nicely.
-Matt’s dad
When i wear my watch i feel i can tell the time. Also i have a large watch collection and no one has ever noticed or commented on what watch i am wearing. No one givea a flying shit. Just wear what you like and stop listening to this nonsense.
ОтветитьSince sometime i had anyway anytime a mobile phone with me i got rid of watches.
Also i'm mostyl working at a PC, so i have constantly the time in reach.
I would think that mostly salesman, managers, lawyers, ... are still wearing watches, not to near to physical work but still apart from too much interaction with digital devices.
teddy making me feel good for wearing a condom everyday
ОтветитьWhat an excellent video ! Congratulations
ОтветитьOk this actually confirms what I've been saying for years, there is definitely a deeper psychology to it and I've aways said that people who wear watches with leather jackets completely contradict the style of the jacket and the other way around. I don't care if you have the perfect leather strap to match it, you look like a poser which ever way you look at it lol
ОтветитьThe most sophisticated and intelligent watch video I ever saw!
Ответитьi have this really old edifice that my father bought at a flee market in 2004, my grandpa liked it, so he wore it till he passed away in 2008, then my dad wore it for...hmm, i think till 2014, then i picked it up back in 2016 as my daily, nowadays: i'm waiting on a good strap to put on it.
in other news: i have this old 80s seiko that i got from my grandpa's drawer at my gramma's, bought a german nato strap from a local watch shop, it's a lovely automatic, still accurate after all these years.
Watching this video while wearing a Garmin make me chuckle
ОтветитьHe looks like Loki variant
ОтветитьThis guy needs to understand that 99% of the Submariner owners never dived in their lifetime.
But thank you for teaching me how to dress....😂
Which watch is in the thumbnail.....?
ОтветитьI wear a Submariner daily. Works with T-Shirt and jeans or a Tuxedo. Wear what you love. Cheers!
ОтветитьI like the talking points, but only mentioning $5k+ timepieces is trash.
ОтветитьSmartwatch: Excuse me, gentlemen. How about me?
Ответитьwhen i used to wear a watch back in the late 2000s early 2010s,before the rise of cheap budget android smartphones beginning with the moto g in 2013.....wearing a watch never made me feel anything, it was just a watch, except the watch stank after a hot day of being hot sweaty and smelling after an entire day outside......and it was extremely gross and disgusting if u didnt clean it after a while.
watches became irrelevant after it no longer served its most mundane purpose, knowing the time.
wearing a watch just for superficial purposes of material displays of ostentatious wealth seems kind of silly, and i dont think i care enough to keep caring for a prolonged period.....growing up i simply did not care about those sorts of things, fashion, drip ,expensive items of clothing or whatever....and also the stress and worry of carrying something worth thousands or more on ur wrist and the paranoia of getting robbed just
All these psychological factors for watch is marketed by luxury watch makers to make people yearn for it..
ОтветитьI have an android samsung watch, will it last forever? I think it looked good though, all black with a reflective glass.
ОтветитьMy tool watch is my Sinn U1 blue face. It’s been with me for 5-6 years and it fits me and my personality perfectly most days. It weight just under 1/2 pound and is bullet proof.
When I like to dress up, I wear my Grand Seiko Snowflake on a stingray strap. These two watches are nearly polar opposite in their design, use and appearance but they fit my personality perfectly.
My grail ultra dress watch would be a A. Lange & Söhne Saxonia thin.
Atomic watch 😎
ОтветитьI’ve got a few “luxury” watches, but my Garmin Epix 2 Porsche Design watch is my daily companion.
I just like all the data it provides.
I prefer pocket watches
ОтветитьI purchased a Breitling chronograph watch in 2004 when I broke up with my fiancé. She was controlling, manipulative and a narcissist. Getting away from her was difficult. I got this watch as a reward for finding myself and speaking up. For me my watch is a special reminder that time is precious and never to waste it on people that don’t appreciate you.
ОтветитьI have a Casio Edifice and an Omega pocket watch from 1929
ОтветитьSold my Rolex after just a few months. I carry my mobile phone everywhere. There’s a clock on my computer when I work. There’s a wall clock when I’m at home. I don’t need a watch so I don’t wear one now. I only wear a Casio when I go to the gym or running because I don’t want to carry my phone. I also don’t wear any jewellery including my wedding ring. Nothing feels better than not wearing anything on your body.
ОтветитьI love watches, I have two watches…. Because I have two wrists.
ОтветитьSubmariner blue dial, Tudor chronograph, Datejust, Tudor prince daydate, Explorer 2 polar & black
ОтветитьWhen I wear my Invicta Darth Vader watch, it is because I am attuned to the dark sise of myself that no one knows.
ОтветитьI wore a Rolex everyday for 24 years until my sons bought me an Apple Watch in 2020. I absolutely love it. Now I wear the Apple every day!
ОтветитьI feel naked when I go out without a watch on.
Ответитьthe feeling of something on my wrist annoys me, i cant wear a watch daily
ОтветитьMy casio makes me feel like bin laden
ОтветитьI wanted to feel rich so I bought an expensive watch. Ironically now, I feel anything but…
ОтветитьWhat about the psychology of having a timepiece you can keep easily looking at? I have been wearing a watch since I was 9. I arrive at work 5 minutes early on average. I have co-workers who arrive 7 minutes late on average.
ОтветитьWhat a great video and what a knowledgeable gentleman
ОтветитьExcellent.
ОтветитьIt’s true, when I wear retail watches I feel gay 😂
