Can I use soy instead? My cuestion is since you use 3 different milk ingreadients what can I use for the 3 milk versions. I’m allergic to dairy. I don’t like coconut, almond nor cashew milk. Coconut is beyond to strong.
ОтветитьHow much flour? You didn’t mention in the recipe
ОтветитьMight just be me, but when I mixed the yolk with the flour, it will clump so bad, I tried it twice and both times the flour clumped up... I don't know what I'm doing wrong
ОтветитьWhy you have two videos of the same recipe ? Love your recipes
ОтветитьI made this for a family gathering and it was perfect! My father in law is Mexican so my husbands family is pretty particular the tres leches. My husband said it was the best tres leches he ever had, not too sweet. 🎉
ОтветитьBruh did he say what degrees to bake cake cause I didn’t hear it
ОтветитьWhat if I’ve soaked the cake and then realised that the milk is too sweet, can I add some whole milk in the cake to reduce the sweetness?
ОтветитьI followed his recipe step by step and my batter WASNT liquid like his. I didn't over whip anything
ОтветитьAwesome recipe came out beautifully. Only thing that I had to change was the baking time it was closer to 35 minutes for me since I live at a high altitude.
ОтветитьMade this tonight! I dusted it with a Dutch cocoa/cinnamon mixture 50/50. It was so good I made weird noises when I ate it!
ОтветитьYour mom is from México?! 😮 that’s a pretty cool fact to know about you 🇲🇽 😊
ОтветитьHey , what can I use if I don't have evaporated milk?
ОтветитьMade this today & it turned out to be good! Thank you for this sumptuous recipe!
ОтветитьI messed up. 😔
Couldn't get my egg whites to peak.
I had dropped some egg yolk in it and couldn't scoop it out.
Would that be why my egg whites didn't stiffen and peak?
I just went ahead and poured the mixture in a pan.
Baking at the moment.
Not sure what to expect now, but hoping it will at least be edible.
I made this cake twice already and it came out delicious I am very glad I chose your video for the recipe as it's simple with clear instructions. Thanks you so much
ОтветитьCan I frost it with american buttercream?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this great recipe. I made this for my husband's birthday and he loved it. Love your content by the way :)
ОтветитьI used the recipe. Looking back I would definitely cut down on the flour. The sponge was quite dense.
ОтветитьTres leches is a Nicaraguan cake.
ОтветитьAdd three tablespoons of sour cream to the milk mixture makes it better instead of whole milk
ОтветитьPreppy kitchen is my go to channel when I want to make something new! Love the recipes and how easy everything is
ОтветитьLove your recipes! I ordered your cookbook for Christmas :)
ОтветитьMy tres leches wasn't soft 😢. We still ate it coz it tasted good😅
ОтветитьGish! What temperature are we baking it at?
ОтветитьIs this cake in your cookbook?
Ответитьi was like wait he has 2 tres leche cake vids but this time you used the egg yolk,
ОтветитьI really enjoy this channel, but this recipe is completely wrong for a traditional tres leches. Tres leches is a layered cake. This is entirely too short. Also, DO NOT separate the yolk from the egg white. Tres leches is not a cloud pancake or cloud anything. Separating the eggs will create too much air and will not allow enough milk to absorb. Finally, this is NOT a leave in pan cake. It is always talking out with the sides whipped as well. And, yes, I did make this recipe and all of my theories were correct.
ОтветитьI hated this cake growing up. I just wanted chocolate cake lol autism and the squishyness of this cake do not go well together. But here I am, making a lactose free version of this cake cuz its a request for a bday
ОтветитьWhat’s your opinion to add pudding to the frosting?
ОтветитьDoes the cake have any egg odor after baking?
ОтветитьWhen I was eating it I was %100, percent right it just tasted super eggy to me. I am shocked it doesn't have butter?? I got the eggy taste type.
ОтветитьThis is the best recipe I tried for tres leches cake ❤
ОтветитьDelicious 😋 ❤
ОтветитьThis cake is a Nicaraguan recipe 🇳🇮❤️🎂
ОтветитьCan I add organic whole milk?
ОтветитьYour book is the BEST

ОтветитьThat looks cool🍰it kind of looks like a cloud
Ответитьis it just me or people here also really watch his videos just for the sake of watching gives genuine joy b/c he really nails it explaining the recipe .
Ответить2 cups of flours meaning total of 400 gm flour or just 200 gm ?
Ответитьi tried cook cake recipe it done having too tasty
ОтветитьJohn you should create a pumpkin pie spice tres leches cake recipe
ОтветитьThankfully, I was able to pull off the techniques for making this cake. I did have to dump one set of egg whites on my first try because they had a little bit of yellow in them and would not whip. But I forged ahead and prevailed! The cake rose appropriately, and soaked overnight without becoming mush, and everyone was happy including some Mexican-American friends. They thought it was exactly right. Amazing! I did think it was overall delicious, but I would prefer less sugar. The chef said in the intro to the video that it was "not too sweet," but it was "too sweet" per traditional norms. I felt my head spinning around after one small slice and I prefer to feel more normal afterwards. I wish I knew how I could make the cake with 1/2 the sugar in the batter, since the condensed milk syrup brings on more sugar and can't be substituted. I don't know how to make that adjustment and keep the same texture.
ОтветитьYour stove is goals lol
Ответитьyou are amazing - thank you!
ОтветитьHey instead of eggs what can I use?
ОтветитьI personally don’t put the WHOLE sweetened condensed milk just because the first time I made it I poured the whole thing and was way too sweet for my taste but everyone’s recipe is different, looks delicious though !🎉
ОтветитьI put pumpkin spice in my 3 milk mix
ОтветитьYummmmmmmy………….♥️💘🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂💘♥️
ОтветитьPlease tell me at what temperature you baked the cake??
Ответить
