If a player is not playing well or tired substitute him. Palmer is that player. He missed a sitter from Pedro. Jackson is awful. In fact, we need a striker like Osimhen. Jackson should be moved to 11. Enzo Maresca is totally crazy for not removing Jackson and Palmer after 70 minutes. Chelsea must buy Osimhen to win the league. If Osimhen goes to another club I won't give this management. Period!

Please sign a centre forward, a 9 in the box. Jackson is good but he makes a lot of mistakes in this game. Because of his mistakes we didn't get the 3 points. Please sign a 9 like Benjamin Sesko from RB Laizip or Igor Matanovich from Eintract Frankfurt.

6 things we learned:
1. Chelsea employed an inexperienced coach and gave him an inexperienced team to manage. That means players and the coach will all be learning at the same time. With this idea, I am afraid we won't finish above 7th this season.
2. If Jackson converted 25% of the chances he has missed ever since Chelsea signed him, chelsea will be in the champions league this season and in top 2 comfortably this season.
3. Lavia isn't our biggest miss. Rather, the reliability on an injury-prone player is our biggest blunder. How do we rely on players like James, Fofana and Lavia with their injury records in the last 18 months.
4. This team needs an experienced striker, experienced DM and an experienced CB.
5. Our recruitment in the last window solved nothing. Maresca doesn't trust Felix, Veiga, KDH. Tosin isn't good, Marc Guiu is inexperienced. It's only Neto and Sancho(loan) that made an impact on the team. It simply tells you that we wasted a whole transfer window doing nothing.
6. Maresca gave us false hope. We thought he had it all figured out, only to realize it was all fluke. Now we are facing reality.

The equaliser started from Sancez he passed it out to Palmer who got shut down by four Palace players,hes a great shot stopper but he scares me everytime he has the ball at his feet makes great saves then sets the opposition up every match.

George, love you , but when did you start completely not understanding football man. Palmer should never receive an outlet pass with two people on him from the goalie in that position; especially with nobody back to outlet for him in the middle.

It is Enzo that can’t go a whole match when we are not inverting and supporting him from behind.

We had 3 primary issues entering today, and they have been the same issues since before this “blip” started:

Finishing. Jackson still s ores mostly “winger” goals. He runs in from his own dribble, knows where he wants to go and shoots. That quick reaction or the ability to orient his feet and body in milliseconds to convert in the box isn’t something he has. Even put through on goal it is still a struggle.

Speed next to Levi. When Fofana went out it caused a huge issue. We like Levi up the pitch, so his limited pace makes recovery difficult. Fofana speed used to be a bail out for losing the ball in bad spots, but none of the others can do that. It caused us to adjust the tempo of how we moved the ball forward “just in case”. Josh may actually be a solution to that problem. But Fofana was supposed to be our try, world class CB. We can’t count on him, so we dont have one.

Finally, most importantly, with Lavia not someone we can rely on with health issues, we have no midfielders Maresca trusts in physical PL matches to sub on for Caicedo and Enzo if the match is in doubt. And yes but wrong. KDH, Casadei … all have glaring issues. It’s our engine room that’s running low on fumes and that means we have a less reliable base for everything we do as matches go on.

Palmer got dispossessed after the hospital pass he received, but with an exhausted midfield Maresca is already worried about, can you imagine Felix? The guy gets dispossessed for fun. He spends more time on the ground complaining than Cucu does, and in the spot he fits, late in games, that’s a huge issue. If you have that solid midfield, if Lavia and Santos are coming in to see the game out and you have an experienced, solid defense, then the creativity and flair of a Felix is welcome.

But right now we are just trying to survive the last 30 minutes of matches. And Palmer is having to come back to receive the ball so deep because he’s the ONLY one that still has legs , not the liability.

People like you, with voices, need to be the ones crying out. Not for the vilification of easily our best player (who deserves better than the play around him and might welcome Real right now with our horrible fanbase), but to pressure the owners into understanding that Strassbourg staying up, while important, isn’t more important than Chelsea. Move Lesley to Strassbourg, try other buys for that club. But Chelsea need Santos back, they need a reliable top end CB, and whether it comes in January or Summer, they need a top end finisher at striker. You get those three things and maybe Palmer can get those occasional breaks people are clamoring for, instead of having to carry every aspect of our play on his back.

Chelsea have a big problem in midfield. They can’t play a whole season with just 2 midfielders (caicedo & enzo Fernandez) they had no other midfielders on the bench or options on the bench to change the game or control the midfield. Lavia is an excellent player to have on the bench or even start games but he is always injured. We cannot rely on caicedo and enzo every game and not make any substitutions in midfield. Every game is different. Maybe Santos needs to come back next season and given a chance? I believe lack of options in midfield is Chelsea’s biggest problem.

the only problem we have,with Madueke off the pitch we only have one guaranteed scorer in the name of Palmer, if opponents can mange to pocket palmer very well then be assured we wil lose the game given we cant keep a clean sheet

I think the players are getting demoralised with keep creating good chances with no end product, when Jackson had that strange run of actually scoring goals all was well. It's almost like they think there's no point in the effort for nothing at the end of it.

If Palmer could see someone finishing all the chances he sets up, he would be buzzing in the 2nd half

Missing Lavia badly

Things I Learned:

1. It's a shame that our best defender, probably the best player of the match was a debutant who was being played out of position.
2. Our best player Palmer needs to be alleviated of the responsibility given to him, which is to kill the game.
3. We need a more cruel striker, whose conversion rate is at least better than those we currently have
4. We need to recall Chalobah

Gusto was good in defence but absolute awful in attack 3 times he could have made a run or passed the ball to Jackson for clear chances. Reece James is just sat on the bench.

I lived in London at the beginning of the 2000s, and I was surprised at the time how you sent back to Ukraine illegal workers who wanted only one thing - give us the opportunity to work and we will do the rest ourselves. We did not ask for social welfare, free food, etc. .p. - just let it work. but no - we were sent back home. instead, you welcomed various Afghans there,Pakistanis, Somalis and other residents of the third world, who did not want to work but demanded free housing for themselves, support for themselves and their families at the expense of the state and most regretfully did not seek to integrate into the life of their new country. Compare how Ukrainians behaved during the Maidan and how how your Muslims and dark-skinned residents behave when they protest for something - burnt cars, gutted and looted shops etc. I don't know who was the thief who robbed you, but these are all the consequences of your internal policy. Why is he so against Felix and nkunku? They barely get a sniff, the chances they get, they don’t even get a full game, Felix come off the other day after 55 minutes and he started well. Maresca needs to know when to change it up when things look stale

It must be happen the manager himself is saying that we are not in title race dispite we're playing good . Even players will think the same, So why should players give their 100% efforts after hearing this from their own manager. Meresca negative mindset is now making impact on games.

Jackson would be more clinical if there was a risk of him being dropped, but there isn't. Nkunku isn't a 9 and Guiu isn't on that level yet.

To make the top four we need an experienced CB and a clinical 9, otherwise this season could easily fall apart
