Spider-Man: The Animated Series Episode 4 - The Return of Kraven - Season 4 Review #spiderman

In "The Return of Kraven," the fourth episode of Spider-Man: The Animated Series' fourth season, Spider-Man grapples with grief over Mary Jane's disappearance, his anger impacting his heroism. Simultaneously, Kraven the Hunter reappears, claiming responsibility for a monstrous creature terrorizing the city, dubbed the Stalker. Spider-Man and Black Cat team up, their partnership strained by Spider-Man's cynicism. The chase reveals the Stalker's true identity: Mariah Crawford, transformed by a serum Kraven himself created, unintentionally resulting in her becoming a feral cat-like creature. Despite their initial conflict, Kraven's desperate attempt to cure Mariah, fueled by his love for her, ultimately reveals the Stalker's true nature and leads to a bittersweet resolution.
