I'm Insane And Made a From The Depths Movie | FULL Playthrough | Adventure Mode Gameplay

It took many years but finally I put myself up to recording the entirety of a full playthrough of the adventure mode in From The Depths and put It into a single video! Normally this playthrough would have span 10+ videos ranging from 30minutes to an hour long! I really really hope you enjoy this 'movie' and would love some feedback!

Things I want to change already include not having the music from the in-game sections but instead adding music later to better vid scenes along with a bit more technical talk about systems I am adding to the craft.

Now I need to go take a long nap.

a feature that I found out recently, I haven't played much since I found it, but you can do CTRL+Caps-lock, to lock camera to target, then use any movement key from WASD to unlock the camera, Hope this helps in the future, note: you need to be looking at the block you want to target for this to work, and I might have the keys to do it wrong

in other news, most interesting bugs so far: i misclicked on the seasonal map instead of ashes, so had to wait for it to load before moving back to ashes... from that point on, whenever i started an adventure mode game, the buggy appearred below the ground.
after a restart, i managed to get a basic armoured vehicle made, added a couple of armoured AA turrets and a casement, AI on the AA, (not sure if that was working)... then, while fighting 2 bombers and a land-sled, my entire vehicle suddenly despawned, leaving me on about 5% health, and with no heartstone. was my best run so far too. le sigh.

lath, would you be willing to do a set of in depth explainers for setting up things like:
ship AI
plane AI
Drones
manual weapon making

etc

i know you've been touching on them when they first come out, but when watching these movie length ones, it's clear you've learned more since making the first impressions/funny ideas videos.

this game is remarkably interesting, but much like Kerbal, it's definitely not newbie friendly.

Edit: a primer on your favoured starts for land and sea based adventure mode would be great too.

all of this, of course, only if you were considering it anyway.

As a newbie to this game I very much enjoyed this video. Thanks for an hour and a half of fun!

Would like to see an adventure mode playthrough without the cuts where you go into a different mode, make your boat, then load it into adventure mode.

The problem with the shotgun is that it ends up massively overkilling the smaller targets it's supposed to be fighting against, meaning you have the full cool down but with only a fraction of the damage dealt. I wonder if tuning them for better armor penetration or using heat/hesh would make an effective weapon for gutting larger craft with saturation fire. If you can get a direct hit you'd have a good chance of hitting anything important.

Then using a slower-firing consistent frag/flak gun for AA duty so you can switch targets more easily and get full value out of each shot.

From the depths is a series I'm so glad to see continued! 💜

So happy to see someone making content on this game I suck at it but I love it idea you should do a vs series against some of the communities builds

You actually defeated yourself at the end there, one of the turrets blasted the back of your other turret, causing the massive mag detonation to split the hull. xD
