I may have to dust the cobwebs from the Mak!!
ОтветитьHad a look at Mars last night, as Clear Outside forecasted clear skies for me (which, as it turns out, was completely wrong). So, I was looking at Mars whilst dodging the clouds, but did get a pretty clear view. I hope to get a 127 Mak in the very near future so I can have a better look at it.
ОтветитьThank you. 👍🏻
ОтветитьGonna look at Mars tonight, it's still closer to us right and for how long ??? Thanks brother, Mars is my second favorite planet.🌚
ОтветитьGreat image Chris, I might have to try myself if the sky is clear.
ОтветитьJet stream was in an eddy above south New Mexico other night, went to my Bortle two site next to Bortle one on a military base and set up my refigured/recoated mirrors on my 150mm Newtonian , old C6-N I bought used and put a 3.2mm ED Starfinder at 234x in and Mars was like a picture, barely any shimmer whatsoever. I could make out details I usually can't because the Jet Stream is up there blowing over 400 km/h most of the time.
In case you wonder why on a nice cool, hardly no breeze night and your view is shimmering at high power, it is the Jet Stream 10 km high blowing like crazy.
Well done on the Mars image.
Thanks for the heads up.
Very nice image of Mars Chris 👌
Any chance of a walk through of the procedure with setting for the asi 462 and editing ect..
Been trying for Mars but struggling with the settings and dew 😫
All the best Ryan
I've been watching Mars for a while now and that image at :46 looks exactly like what I've been seeing over the past few days.
ОтветитьHoping to have some decent weather in wales to see it .. last few weeks have been disastrous but hoping the high thats in control at the moment might give us a few clear nights.
