The storytelling behind the design is incredible. This is what archi films are all about. Well done Est!
ОтветитьOne of my all time fav houses! 🙌😍❤️
Ответитьthis house is absolutely beautiful
Ответитьyou find yourself gravitating to spaces? I find myself gravitating towards that nose son! hahaha
ОтветитьBravo cinematography. Are you hiring 😂
ОтветитьI like how the modern house is finished with old-fashioned stone - conceptually it shouldn't work but it does
Ответитьvery nice and project
ОтветитьSorry but would have been far nicer to build in keeping with the original cottage. I guess being surrounded by trees is a blessing in this case
ОтветитьWow, just beautiful
ОтветитьI have to wonder how planning permission was granted for the new house to be built around the existing house to such a HUGE degree!!
I suspect if I had bought this house, I would struggle to get permission to build a tiny garage onto the side of it!
Yet you have been allowed to increase its footprint by about 10X ????
Seriously? Am I just overly critical? Or do I just not understand how MONEY really works??
WOW! JUST WOW!
ОтветитьA natural take on a home is the excitements in what architects and engineers do with the things we call home.
ОтветитьA big kid's fort - magical & fun...
ОтветитьVery beautiful.
ОтветитьLooks like an industrial complex attached to a beautiful cottage
ОтветитьCottage all day everyday- forget the rest
Ответитьit's interesting when you think that that cottage from 1730 was not built by someone who had studied architecture
Ответитьplease do timestamps the next time
Ответитьbeautiful architecture, but it's too much. too much focus on aestestics. it does not feel like a human should live there. it's more of an art gallery.
ОтветитьThis makes me emotional on many levels. The beauty of the build. The videography. The subtle backing tones. It's just beautiful.
ОтветитьThis looks like a house of horrors. Those big empty concrete hallways look like a scene of a horror movie where you can't find the door of the house and the crazy owner wants to hunt you down.
Ответить"Beautiful place! Let's build something grandiose steel and concrete here where we can sit inside and look outside enjoying this beautiful place!"
ОтветитьMagnificent! Love from Vietnam.
ОтветитьI would love to be gush-y like all the other commentators, but I'm afraid I absolutely hate what has been done here. You could not find a more perfect location and perfect little Cotswold cottage on which to base a beautiful and sensitive renovation, and what do you do? Subsume the charm of the original building in a way that manages to be both bland and ostentatious at the same time. Horrible.
ОтветитьThe newer building looks like nobody is living in and very sad
No originality this less is more concept is not fresh anymore
Wow, what a lovely journey I went on. Clearly a lot of effort has gone into maximising form and function.
ОтветитьLovely selection of materials that give a tranquil feel.
ОтветитьWhat a stunning home with a wonderful mix of traditional and modern materials. This place looks magical.
ОтветитьMagnificent! What a spectacular home amongst a breathtaking landscape, this has been captured so perfectly 👌🏼
ОтветитьYes there are trillions everywhere owned by slave ops.
I could go to Russia, im sure I'll live better than I am now.
I don't understand the military in Na. I do understand it very well, but the amount of bitches.
beautiful!
ОтветитьSimply beautiful - what a thing.....
ОтветитьThis is stunning. Living in London, the desire for space and greenery resonates strongly to me.
ОтветитьNice, but so sad and empty place
ОтветитьOne of the most succesful peices of Architectural design and Material choice and implementation through high quality craftsmansship I have seen in a very long time! Congratulations to all those involved. Im certainly very jelous.
ОтветитьThis is a crime. The gross, gigantic mansion wrapped around the lovely cottage, why does anyone need a home this large? Planet is dying, Richard
Ответитьthe cottage looks lived inn, the new building looks like a showroom not meant to be lived inn but merely admired
ОтветитьJust why? Why not leave the little cottage alone and build the modern house separately elsewhere. Now the old cottage is suppressed by this monsterously huge modern building that suffocates its old world charm. The whole combo just looks awkward.
ОтветитьThat fireplace is sooo awesome
ОтветитьIncredible ❤
ОтветитьYOU SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO OWN THAT BIG A PIECE OF LAND/NATURE.
ОтветитьSome maybe... Others are just in dereliction.... And then silented....
Ответитьthe modern house looks like a psychopathic parasyte next to a cottage
Ответить"...no properties elsewhere to see." I'm in!
Ответитьloved the way how he was successful in bringing a new language that has a connection to the old building and makes it seamless and humble addition to such a serene environment.
ОтветитьDid he say ‘turning your phone off for three hours and properly relaxing”?! We’ve set ourselves a low bar for ‘properly relaxing” but what a beautiful space to attempt it :)
Ответитьbloody love that
Ответитьbeautiful!!!
ОтветитьOh look something different??? A box with loads of glass, all white interior . Its so funny how they so proud of these carbuncle buildings, a child could design .
