The snappoint system sucks. I build house for 50 hours, but my roof has a tiny different snappoint, I cant tell where it went band but there is like a gap between the roof. FUCK THIS

Hey dude i was wondering, basically i started building a wooden house with an upstairs, with different rooms, when i put on the doors they wont snap in place correctly, its also the same for some of the walls and they tend to stick out and look quite jaggid. Can you please explain to me what im doing wrong as they is so disheartening 😢

i love these and i always wonder why sometimes things wont snap or ther are no snap points or you cant build any higher lol some of my builds work but it feels like magic at this point i would love a vid explaining smaller things and why you did them that way lik eg i did your treehouse build, mine is not as neat and polished as yours but if you saw it you would instantly see it was your build just on ark mobile .i love when you ecplain stuff like that like in your treehouse build i pickd up a snap trick where you put a raill on the far side first to create a new snap point cos it would not snap if you did it the reverse way ,,,,i tried to and was like oooh thats wh he said we must do it that way lolpleas i would also love a vid explaining how snap points work and how to play with this b snapping to cieling instead of wall or to foundation instead of wall etc

Doubling walls is also a good defense in pvp, as it will take enemy players twice the time to get into your base

cannot get these walls to work. I have tried to do double walls and its glitchy. Always glitchy. Doesn't matter what I try, it does not seem to work. One wall is always lower. They keep wanting to snap where I don't put them. Is there a way to keep them from force snapping elsewhere. I'm not moving. Not budging but of course, every single time, without fail, it snaps where it wants to.

Regarding the tip on sinking foundations, there is a quicker way. Place a pillar. When you place a second pillar, if you place it a foundation away, it will automatically snap at the same height as the first. However, if you place the pillar right next to the first (a half foundation away), it will automatically snap to the lower snap point of the first, sinking it automatically. You can then pick up the first and place it right back down in the same spot. It will, again, automatically sink it. Simply rinse and repeat until you get a pillar at the height you want, pick up the other pillar, and place a foundation. That foundation will snap at the same height as the pillar. Pickup the pillar and build from there.

If using S+ or Super Structures, use vanilla pillars for this as the S+ and SS pillar will not snap at the closer position.

This is especially useful for sinking foundations on rafts since if you stop the third time you place the first pillar and place your foundation at that point, it will be at the perfect height (basically, the foundation will be even with the surface of the raft.

Another, probably obvious thing, is that with double layer walls, is that if any damage is to come to the wall, Dinos and Players alike will have to take 2x the time to destroy the walls.
But that aside, this video is incredibly helpful, tysm

Why can't a single video tell you what button to press to make a blueprint of a building/floor/wall, materialise. All of them say 'just place this here!!!!! How? What button brings it into solid materials in ps4????

I'm fairly amateur in ark and mostly just enjoy building bases and surviving and have a lot to learn, and dude watching this video ALONE has blown my mind several times in just a few minutes
