erm, how exactly are the passwords encrypted if they can just type in your username and password AS I DO IT and see all those passwords in plain text? The encryption only works for breaches of the servers. Not if they literally know your whole login.
Ответитьchanging you lasspass master password doesn't change the password that have been stolen.
Every time lasspass gets hacked, which is very few days, you need to change all of your passwords. Unless you were using good ones to begin with.
I'm just going to write my password in my diary
ОтветитьWhat if you want to log in from a device that doesn't have your password manager installed?
Ответитьstill not understanding how a hacker would see encrypted data but we would see our passwords. doesn't make sense. if a hacker logs into our password manager they'd be able to see the same passwords we do.
ОтветитьA password manager isn't even less secure because it requires only 1 master password.
ОтветитьSo basically this is advertisement for LastPast.. hehehe
Ответитьunfortunately, password managers are absolutely broken.
Ответитьthis video is sponsored by lastpass
ОтветитьWhy do you need passwords in the first place? First, admit to yourself that it sounds intriguing.
ОтветитьWhat if I need to login from another device but don’t know the password because it’s in my password manager
ОтветитьThat's amazing, I've got the same combination on my luggage!
ОтветитьThis video is just saying the same thing multiple times
Ответитьoh no, I dont want to become an american, I love having free healthcare
ОтветитьMe who has like 3/4 accounts:
Ответитьwhen you forget your password manager password
ОтветитьI use a variety of different variations to the same password which is just different enough to not be guessed if someone knows one of them
Ответитьjokes on them cause i use different e-mails.
ОтветитьI’m so paranoid that a password manager will be hacked as well. god. 😭
ОтветитьBut how if you forgor the email password and the master password. What are you gonna do now?
ОтветитьAbcd
ОтветитьWhat if the hacker havks the password manager app ?

ОтветитьSo you advice to use password manager which store all my password on cloud...that sound horrible idea
ОтветитьUse bitwarden, best open source project
ОтветитьI here by recommending Buttercup to everyone, it is free, secure and 2FA available.
ОтветитьUse KeePass. Its yours. Nothing centralized, paid or in hands of some company! It has everything you want! From Webbrowser-Plugins to VeraCrypt Automount Plugins.
Every security expert worth the money will recommend KEEPASS
My roommate had a cool idea before password managers became really common. He kept a novel near his computer. Every time he signed up at a new site, he made a bookmark with that site name, flipped to a random page in the book, and made his password based on the first few words on that page. e.g., if he was on page 174-175 then his password would be something like "!&$TheEarthPath175GoodEveningSaid" (pressing shift for the first number).
ОтветитьI would recommend using an offline password manager like KeePassXC.
If you do that you should probably back up the database of your password on a separate hard drive or something, so in case you lose the database, you have it backed up on another hard drive.
Okay but like... what if a password manager gets breached and they use an algorithm to sort out your (scrambled) passwords? I'm no techie but I feel like this is completely possible.
ОтветитьThank you, but which password managers do you suggest? Useless video.
ОтветитьWell, this is just advertising.

ОтветитьYou're telling me to stop memorizing my passwords? I don't! The secret is resetting your password anytime you want to get into your account. It is extremely annoying but I don't think I've gotten hacked YET :)
Ответитьonly 27? lol
ОтветитьI dont get the last part. Assume he has my master password, then he should be able to see my passwords just like i do? Or at least use them. Otherwise, how do i differ from the hacker in functionality when we use my account the same way?
ОтветитьYou can just set your password as pa$$word to trick the hackers and prevent your account from getting hacked.
ОтветитьInstructions unclear my account has been lo-
ОтветитьIt guy: guys stop using simple passwords it's not secure enough, use macaroni123 instead..
ОтветитьIs anybody’s password actually macaroni123😂 sounds like someone would actually use that
ОтветитьWhat if the password manager got hacked???
ОтветитьSo you won't show any ads for the best password manager 🙁
ОтветитьOr you could write them down on a paper :)
Ответитьlets make cT56nMhJRt2617FTvJkLzÜa the most common password
ОтветитьSo instead of using one password for every website, put all of your passwords in one website that needs one password, I don’t see very much change.
