I lived for the drama on this show lmao, was so disfunctional but I guess that’s why it’s entertaining lol

Cookie started irritating me with her screaming , bullying, and victim playing in season 5, and it was worse in season 6.
She was blaming everything on Luscious. I ended up not knowing what she wants. She claimed Empire was "their" legacy, but she didn't mind publicly announcing that Empire was founded on drug money. The same company she said was her kids'. Not only that, she helped a rival company, Bossy Women. Above all that, she technically cheated on Lucas with an enemy that could have easily killed Luscious. An enemy that worked with the feds to bring down Luscious. Luscious, according to the storyline, has always protected Cookie. Except when she was jailed.
I'll be honest , I fast-forwarded every scene with Cookie and Becky. I just couldn't watch her anymore.I really questioned Cookie's l"ove" for Luscious.
So, I feel it was the right time to cancel Empire. Lee Daniels had lost the plot. He made Luscious weak. Especially during Eddie's storyline. Reviving the old Luscious was not working anymore.
I guess the death of the real-life inspiration of Empire left Lee Danies in a writers' spasm.

I'm so over watching tv shows and movies where BM constantly treat BW like crap, treating everything we do for them as less than nothing! Always having to constantly beg for their love, respect and them expecting us to be grateful for the crumbs they give, whenever they decide to give it! Acting like the only way they can feel like a man is if we are constantly on our knees so they can stand on our backs to feel tall! People calling this toxic ish love when in reality its just a trauma bond and emotional abuse!
