i wish you would come to Lafayette, indiana. i would love to meet you and Chris "The Girl"!
ОтветитьGreat show Tampa jay especially Busch gardens food and wine festival and we do have a British pub but it’s in San Antonio’s river walk and it’s really good and we also have German restaurants as well 👍
ОтветитьIt's been years since I have gone to Busch and so many changes. Thank you Tampa Jay. 🦩🦩🦩
ОтветитьHi Tampa Jay ty for sharing this adventure with us. I enjoyed it. I hope to see you again soon.
ОтветитьIt seems like people are saying there may be a sink hole in the area of Kumba. Its tough to speculate on all the different rumors going around because it seems like this time of the year a lot of yearly maintenance is going on. Thanks for bringing us to the media night and showing the new president speaking. Glad to hear them investing in the park.
ОтветитьOh no.. Kumba is iconic to the park for me! Hopefully they can fix whatever the issue is!
ОтветитьTheme park ceviche sounds about as bad as gas station sushi lol. Couldn’t pay me to try it
ОтветитьI really need get back to Busch Gardens. We are happy we get to live vicariously through your video. The last time I was there I was only 5 years old and boy is it different looking now than I remember it. I am sad I never got back before they closed Scorpion. I could remember being that kid watching my dad ride it. Perception is a funny thing. It looked like a giant coaster in my eyes back then in 1986.
ОтветитьWe are all quacking up...
ОтветитьLove bug smh😂
ОтветитьMaxsmith said hi to you TJ and chirs the Girl
ОтветитьFunnily enough, I just got back from a Sister Hazel show here in Gainesville - of course they played All For You, but they had some good covers too.
As for Kumba, it is definitely one of the "classic" B&M coasters from an era when if a park wanted something big to draw the crowds, they would normally build a giant Arrow clunker. Unlike Arrow and Schwarzkopf (both of which are out of business, which probably contributed to Scorpion's downfall), however, B&M is still around and they have a good reputation when it comes to supporting their rides, so the coaster has that going for it
could it have been possible to have asked some one who works there, about the ride?
Ответитьman Kumba was my first Roller coaster ever
ОтветитьBusch Gardens definitely is for tourists, & definitely went downhill , & summer teenagers babysitting . Was a nightmare, didn’t renew my annual pass. Do not stop anywhere outside the park!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your experience at Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival 2025! Food looked great. Hope you can go back when all their new animals will be ready for their new habitats ! Nice job 👍
ОтветитьHey Jay don't know if you will be around when Blackberry Smoke plays that festival but I would highly recommend seeing them play. Kind of a blues rock jam band vibe.
ОтветитьNothing better than food and wine at the Busch
ОтветитьUnfortunately for kumba, it doesn't draw in a crowd and hardly ever has a high wait time. A good comparison is star tours at hollywood studios.
ОтветитьMan. So they're ending Kumba? I remember when it opened. Have a great day TJ
ОтветитьScorpion was my daughters first roller coaster way back in the mid 80's. They road it for my birthday present, we were there from NC. Sad to see it go. Love your videos keep up the good work.
ОтветитьOh no not the Kumba!
ОтветитьActually the old Clydesdale barn is across from the Cheetah run. It's now the Stranglewood Estate scare house.
ОтветитьAlso, there is a phone charging station by Scorpion.
ОтветитьThe only country music I’ve ever liked is Big N Rich. I’d rather listen to Metallica! lol. 💜🤘🏻💜
Love your POV on Falcons Fury! Great video, as always!

Thanks for the video Jay! When I was little I could spend the whole day there on $20. We'd get our hand stamped and run across Busch Blvd. to McDonald's for lunch. Sultan's arcade was the meetup spot and the Python was my favorite coaster. Also rode an elephant there back in the early 80's. Fond memories but the current ticket and food prices, ride closures, and overall experience just isn't worth it (for me) anymore.
ОтветитьThey need to close the entire park since it seems like 90% of the ride are closed. Bush Gardens just to be one of the best amusement park like Disney but now is getting suck
ОтветитьKumba will be opening there waiting for parts
ОтветитьStop spreading rumors.
Kumba is being inspected and renovated, it is not closing.
Ok you do not get a thumbs down today. You paid the pink chicken tax.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing Tampa J that was a fun video!!!
ОтветитьSo why are you saying this when the park announced it was having new trains installed and track cleaning and adjustments? Did you miss that? I'm confused. I think rumors are stupid. Ask the actual park director.
As for their food, it's always sub-par, at high prices. It's not worth it when you can get MUCH better at Universal for somewhat cheaper. Except the food passes, which is worth it at Uni. Not to mention a lot of the food at BG is repetative. As someone else said, thier cleanliness is also lacking. But I do love most of the rides. Too bad half of them are closed now for maintenance. Have fun out there!
Thanks for sharing that with us I enjoyed watching
ОтветитьI was at Busch Gardens yesterday and it was my first time going there im from Orlando but dang it was a horrible experience Practically majority of their rides were not running Kumba, Shekra, Iron Gwazi was down the whole day, we waited for every for cheetah hunt only to almost get on and the launch failed and they shut it down for the 4th time that day and all the other rides lines were long. This park needs help.
ОтветитьWow, some great concerts. Glad i rode Kumba when i was there.
ОтветитьHey Jay - Did you hear anyone say when Sheikra will re-open? Going in a few weeks so I hope it’s open soon. Thx.
ОтветитьI remember seeing the Clydesdales there. I love Kumba, and Montu. I havent been there since the year the original Gwazi opened. The night rides on that were really fun.
ОтветитьI miss the old brewery days. I just realized you almost sound like adam the woo. Thanks for the great content.
Ответитьsince Busch Gardens is open all year-round yearly maintenance still has to be performed on all the rides that's why around the winter 1-2 rides are closed for weeks at a time when the parks are at their lowest compacity
ОтветитьThanks for another great vid, Jay :) It is also fun to walk around the parks and get some behind-the-scenes. Have a great one...
ОтветитьFuture reference there's plugs that you can use to charge inside the manatee exhibit up against the back wall 🎉, it's not advertised but if you look there they are and no one's ever told me not to use them 🎉
ОтветитьI would be pissed if I went to the park and 3 of their rollercoasters were closed and both water rides. It is spring break! Wtf?!
ОтветитьYou nailed it with pronouncing Swahili 😊
ОтветитьJust Went A Few Days Ago, Little Animals, 40$ For Two Burgers And Fries. Bs Service. And Scorpion Was Closed. And Python. Smh 😢
ОтветитьWould it be alright with you if I use some of your footage? I'm looking to do a video discussing and speculating what's going on with Kumba and I'd like to use some of your footage of the work walls and the sign out in front. I will be sure to give you full credit.
ОтветитьWent for the first time in January. Was super bummed that cobras curse, sheikra, and kumba were all closed. Glad i at least got to do tigris, cheetah, montu and quazi. But it was a major disappointment for how much i paid and i got discount tickets too.
ОтветитьI haven’t rode Kumba for probably 20 years, it always made me sick 😂
ОтветитьIt's reopening this summer. Saw it on a FB page posted earlier today.
ОтветитьWell well well
