Why?

Why They Changed It To Some Dinky BS Theme, Is Beyond Me.

This Was A Perfect Theme, And Really Set The Tone For The Medical Drama.

This version is haunting

I've been binge watching the show lately and noticed that intro theme changed to this version with Organ only a few episodes after Wilson got House an Organ.
Now I imagine that House is the one playing the intros.

this should've started playing after the tonal shift occurred in the show, would've made a much greater impact allowing viewers to sort of encapsulate a mysterious yet slightly miserable feeling that house is accompanied by all the time.

I understand why they couldn’t keep it. But fuck. This was one of those intros as badass as CSI: Miami lol

It was a terrific show, and Hugh Laurie is a terrific actor. But it was very hard for me to watch, because at the time, I was dealing with a very severe illness that turned out to be thyroid cancer. Every episode, with its descriptions of illnesses and symptoms, terrified me.

I remember when I first encountered this show this opening made me an instant fan. Nevermind the cool inside the body animations and Sherlock Holmes esque lead

I just found House on the Roku channel and I think it just played the end credits music with the opening credits

It was funny when I read that most Americans thought Hugh Laurie (House) was actually American 🤣..he is British..we've been watching him on out TVs for years ..

I used to watch this show, House, with my grandparents when it was on TV. They were in bad health and there wasn't much we could do together at the time but we always made sure to never miss an episode of House. Both of them are gone now and I think of them every time I hear this song or watch an episode of House. Actually, I think of them all the time...

I watch it on 2 different TV channels and both networks don’t have Teardrop after the 1st season which makes no sense to me since I’m in the US.

AHS just used this song in their new season and I was like "OMG I KNOW THIS SONG... Where do I know it from?" And then I remembered. The song is just so cool. It easily gets you pumped for what's to come in a show.
