ОтветитьGreat trail to walk, long but nice. Seems like a nice trip and good place to spend the night.
Thanks for taking us along with you. Enjoy your time on the trail.
God bless and stay safe on your travels.
Thanks Simon 9.miles and I'm absolutely done in. ❤ You should be proud of yourself for making such good content and finding something interesting wherever you go.
ОтветитьWas on the Angles way this weekend just gone, We found it at St Olaves, as we were or with our dogs for a walk, and walked to a Stunning old Church called St Mary's Ashby, and back to our campsite. Then we stopped off at Beccles for a wander in to town and then found that we were once again on the Angles way heading towards Great Yarmouth. Really enjoyed the walk, then had to go back on ourselves as the A146 road was closes on our way back home to North Norfolk. We enjoyed the walks we did, except the road section like yourself, There was an Ultra Marathon going on, on the Sunday. Which was a 100k or 50k run along the Angles way from what we found via the internet later on that day. Looking forward to the next video to see more of the walk.
ОтветитьThat’s some going Simon, beautifully filmed as always and stunning scenery. A great choice in sleep system too mate. I need a bivi bag that zips up! Looking forward to part two. Sorry I haven’t been as sharp to the point watching your previous vids Si, I’ve been juggling life. Cheers pal
ОтветитьBreydon Water is familiar to those who have read Arthur Ransoms Coot Club and Big Six books
ОтветитьWonderful video as always! Love the hat, can you tell me which make and model it is please? Tilley??
ОтветитьNice walk Simon pity about great Yarmouth i visited it in the late 1989 it's looking totally rundown now looks like you found a decent place to kip see you in part two atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
ОтветитьOoooo. Crafty trick dmsoaking the twig in the alchol stove. Im stealing😂😂😂. D🤙
ОтветитьWhat brand is the hat, Simon? I like the look of it. The brim is smaller than many out there and the fit seems a little trimmer too. I've been looking for a good hat.
ОтветитьGreat video mate, the look on your face when you had your first bite of some scran after a long day in the outdoors was priceless. :) great channel.
ОтветитьNever seen him without a hat
ОтветитьExtra warming 😂👍🏻
ОтветитьAwesome!🤠👍
ОтветитьYou're more than a presenter Simon you're a mate, love your videos keep up the good work buddy.
ОтветитьDo you see any Birds or Hedgehogs on your ramblings?
ОтветитьBrilliant. Following your walk on the map reminded me of the Arthur Ransome book "we didn't mean to go to sea" where they sailed through Great Water. Really enjoy your videos Simon. Thanks.
ОтветитьOh mate there are so many places here I have memories. Spent quite a few years living here as a teen and young adult. When you walked up Sandy Lane in Belton right past one of my old mates houses who is no longer with us. Bit gut wrenching there and a lot of memories from years long ago now... I know so many of these places like the back of my hand and it really is a mix of invoking good and not so good memories. Still probably the place in the world where I have more friends than almost anywhere else I have lived and worked.
Life is a funny old thing eh? The way we change as we age and the things that spark memories. I have been here watching your vids on and off pretty much since the start of your channel and I love a lot of what you do. Thank you for making this one in particular though. Keep up the good work and take care bud :)
What a beautiful walking path.
ОтветитьSimon is a great host. He doesn't feel alone and he keeps us company as we waste our free time preparing for nothing. 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
ОтветитьSimon's nickname is " bloke o'the lo lands
ОтветитьI don’t get it. Watching a man walk, why not just walk yourself?
ОтветитьFantastic. All the best. Cheers 🍻. 👍🐾🐾😎
ОтветитьThank you , Simon .
🐺 Loupis Canis .
Thanks for showing the Roman fort and the map of the path. Love the history aspects. Well done.
ОтветитьLove watching your videos after a long day. This video I’ve watched countless times. I just love it. Its a miniature vacation for me (like your others) but this series is my favorite. Thank you. ❤
ОтветитьEnvious!
ОтветитьI just wondered Simon how you prevent getting bitten by ticks and other insects while walking in tall grassy areas
ОтветитьI hope to one day do these kind of walks in England 😊
Ответитьlooks a nice walk
thank you for the video
Quite remarkable how aggressive cars seem when they arrive out of context after so long watching peaceful nature. Makes you think
ОтветитьTerrific :)
ОтветитьLoved this adventure. Curious what sleep pad you're using?
ОтветитьLove to walk it vicariously, would love to walk it myself but I guess it will never happen anymore. So thanks for taking 'me' along with you ;-)
Ответитьgood vid
ОтветитьGreat video, very interesting. I love windy days like this!
ОтветитьLoving the scenery. Beautiful filming and editing.
ОтветитьYou’ve filmed this very well. In the past I’ve walked sections of Peddars Way and like this part of the world very well. Hope to have a go at the Angles Way some day soon. Your rucksack looks comfortable and I’m wondering how you got on with it.
ОтветитьNo one uses the heavily overgrown section after Sandy Lane, keep straight on Sandy Lane and eventually you come out near the pub with the for sale sign. It saves you having to walk on the busy road section.
Ответитьanother nice video THANKS
ОтветитьSorry if this has already been asked. What size rucksack are you using and what was your all in weight in the ruck?
ОтветитьAfter just finished episode 5 and here I am again lowering my blood pressure, thank you Simon
ОтветитьWell…I certainly hope your boots are completely waterproof and mud proof as that is some user unfriendly trail 😢😮
ОтветитьLovely
ОтветитьWhat booze goes in your hot chocolate please - great idea!
