I am fortunate to have both fine and costume jewelry. I wear only wear sterling or platinum. The pearl stuff she is selling looks dated. I have a Mikimoto strand of 8mm that I wear with pearl studs. I wear lots of semiprecious stones, but I avoid suites.

Ironic that you are speaking as an expert in jewelry but you are mispronouncing "jewelry." This is a somewhat common NYC mispronunciation (I hear it on Law and Order fairly often) but that doesn't make it okay! You are saying "jew-lurr-y," rather than "jew-ell-ry." Your second syllable is incorrect. After all, the root word is "jewel," but you are saying "jewler" instead.

How does the Starry Night necklace adjust? Is the Y a piece you add on or is there a jump ring to turn it into a lariat? I don’t see a jump ring at the end of the Y that’s why I’m confused.

As a jewelry designer and creator I think it's interesting that you put pictures of semi precious stone jewelry in with the "plastic" jewelry but then didn't even mention it at all when it's SUPER popular right now. I've never been a fan of using plastic in my designs and always preferred precious metals because I believe in making quality original pieces. Can't go wrong with handcrafted pieces. So much jewelry is cast and it's missing the quality that you get with a one of a kind, hand made piece. I prefer silver, love turquoise too. Matchy matchy is always out, instead wear different pieces that complement each other. 😊

I have always loved silver and and a lot of it mostly James Avery jewelry that I have been collecting for a long time some of the items i have of James Avery that I have they don't make anymore so they are vintage to me because I have had them since like the eighty's or so and I love wearing them also I love pearls and have several different items in pearls and some pink ones even and love them they have always been really classic and never go out of style and Go with anything dress them up or down and I love to wear gold and silver together always have loved that look together
